1. Who is GPS? What is its role in the film?
GPS is a cow. It is one of the cows that belong to Kidane and his favorite cow
too. The death of the GPS was the climax for the movie. It was kill by the
fisherman when it run into the fishermans net. And Kidane went to confront
the fisherman which results in the death of the fisherman.
2. What is the punishment for singing? Who receives it?
The punishment for singing is forty lashes and receive by a woman who
singing with accompany of her friends in a house.
3. What is the relationship between Abdelrakim(Abdelkerim) and Satima?
Abdelkerim loves to visit Satima, and every time he came, Satimas husband
is not around. Maybe he is secretly in love with her but he cant confess it
since Satima is married. He sometimes using the religion as the reason for
visiting her (like when he told her that she should cover). He also added that
Satima can ask him if she needs anything.

1. Laila visits the United States: where and why?
Laila came to United States to pursue her study in New York University for
fall 2013 as a student of class of 2017.
2. Who is Khanun (Khanum)? (Mention as many details as possible)
Khanum is Lailas partner(girlfriend). She is blind, her mother is from
Pakistan and her father is from Bangladesh. She have lived in 7 countries
including Madagascar. She met Laila in a demonstration in NYC.
3. What happened when Laila and Khanun (Khanum) go to visit Laila's parents
in India? What do you think of this situation?
Laila spent almost her time with Khanum while I India. Khanums opinion
about her mom gave Laila courage to come out to her mother. At first her
mother cant accept the fact that she is bisexual but later on, her mother
seem to accept this. Laila also confessed to Khanum that she had sex with
Jared. The whole scene in India towards the end of this movie can be
consider as the climax of the movie. This situation shows us how the
character of Laila become developed from day to day and finally she grown
up as a confident woman and accepting her identity.

8. Amer did not interest me because it is to visual and has less dialogue
which makes me feel so sleepy when watching it.
7. The holy girl is so abstract and I need to come out with my own conclusion
at the end of the movie.
6. A girl walks home alone is a quite interesting black and white movie. The
girl is so hipster. I like her character and this movie is kind of special and
hister!
5. Timbuktu is a watchable movie with a mesmerize cinematography but Im
not really fond of this kind of movie.
4. Margarita with a straw can be at a higher ranking with its storyline and
plot but Im a Bollywood lover and this movie fails to fulfill my expectation (I
expect that there will be at least a scene of singing and dancing, I know
there is scene like this, but thats not what I expected).
3. Babadook. I thought it is a horror movie but it turns out to be a
psychological movie. I like how the powerful of love is shown throughout
this movie.
2. Phoenix has a very talented actors. Only by seeing their faces the
audience can feel their feeling and the ending is so remarkable.
1. Clouds of Sils Maria because it is a wonderful movie with a wonderful
cinematography and scenery. I love the theme of it and I can feel the
messages it carries.
