Jesus Time: God Chooses Saul to Be King

We see that God chose Saul to be king over Israel after the people complained that
they wanted a king like other kingdoms.
Matthew 4:10b Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.
This is the first week the Kindergarten will be saying a passage for memory.
They will say “Matthew 4 verse 10 Worship the Lord your God, and serve him
only.” this Friday to me either in a small group, with a friend, or by themselves
for memory.

Saul Takes Sin Lightly

We see Saul sinned against God by not obeying his commands.
Genesis 39:9b How then could I do such a wicked thing and sin against God?

This Wednesday we will be singing“God
Is So Good” in church. Please have
your child come to the classroom at 4:40
to practice with their classmates.
Parents may wait outside until we are
done practicing. The parents will take
the children to church after practice is
complete. At some point, Pastor will
invite the children to come forward to
sing to the congregation. When they are
done singing, the children will return to
their parents.
