The key plants of BSNL for wired communication, wireless communication of CDMA & GSM,
broadband communication to provide network services such as 2G, EDGE, 3G, HSDPA etc, power
system, emergency power system were demonstrated.

IIT Roorkee (Masters thesis)
Optimizing Airbag of an Adaptive Restraint System (16/07/2015 - 30/06/2016)
The study aims to design an airbag of an adaptive restraint system to provide protection to the 95th
percentile occupant. Firstly, a simplified numerical model of an airbag impactor system is developed.
The model is then validated.The conceptualization of airbag is achieved using the validated
numerical model. The development of the airbag is achieved using a commercial software namely,
LS-Dyna.

Design of Low Cost Airbag for Occupant Safety (02/01/2015 - 19/04/2015)
The attempts made in the past for reducing the cost of an Airbag module by altering the design,
material and features of its components such as airbag fabric, inflator and propellant were reviewed.

Automatic Gear Transmission in Two Wheeler using Embedded System (01/07/2013 02/04/2014)
The present automatic transmission is fully mechanically controlled and costs very high and it is not
suitable for small displacement engines. Hence a gear transmission mechanism is designed which is
reliable, has small dimensions, economical and has low maintenance cost. According to the
suggested gear shifting method, the micro controller selects the transmission gear as per the speed
of the vehicle without any human interference.

Pumping water from water wells with low bottom pressure possesses a problem. The project aims to
design and fabricate the walking beam water pump based on walking beam mechanism to solve the
problem.

The aim of study is to bring out the existing infrastructure, profile of people, transport system, traffic
behavior and street features from Railway Station to Har Ki Pauri of Haridwar.

The accessibility of the campus was studied during the event of Thomso'14, a cultural festival held
annually in IIT Roorkee. The study included questionnaire for assessing campus accessibility and
