AIM: to get students attention
PROCEDURE: the teacher greets the students and asks them different questions such as: How
are you today?, What day is today? then she checks the homework.

AIM: to get the students ready for the lesson
PROCEDURE: the teacher checks the homework and then the teacher announces the topic of the
lesson.

INITIAL PRACTICE
AIM: the students should interpret a quotation
CLASS MANAGEMENT: whole class activity

PROCEDURE: the teacher writes on the blackboard a quptation: The earth has enough for
every mans need but not for every mans greed.And asks the students what they think it means.

AIM: The students present their homework,explain and discuss

PROCEDURE: the students present their homework for which they had 2 weeks.They have been
divided into groups and each group had to make a project on computer about the problems the
earth faces nowadays.The teacher supervises and gives extra information and explanations if
necessary.

AIM: the students express their opinion

PROCEDURE: The teacher asks the students which some of the threats they have presented and
then she asks them to have a look at a list she has prepared for them.

PROCEDURE: The teacher asks the students to find a cause for each threat they have mentioned
before and they can match the causes with the threats as the teacher prepared another pieces of
paper with some causes.

PROCEDURE: The teacher asks the students to find some solutions for the threats mentioned
before and she gives some examples

PROCEDURE: The teacher asks the students if they have ever heard about The Earth Day and
then asks one of them to read a short article about it.The teacher asks some comprehensible
questions such as: When is it celebrated?, When was it first celebrated?, Whose idea was
it?, How is it celebrated today?

ACTIVITY SIX:
AIM: to help the students become more aware of the dangers

PROCEDURE: the teacher reads some Did you know? facts meant to raise students attention
and make them more aware of the human greed and change their mind about hurting the
environment.

the teacher evaluates students answers and draws conclusions
the students listen to the teacher and ask questions if any
HOMEWORK
the teacher gives them a solution for trash disposal,as our world seems to have been buried in
trash and asks them to write an essay for the next time with the title What should we do to
protect the earth?
