How to check out a pass:
Visit your local library.
Choose the card for the museum you
would like to visit.
Bring the card to the library desk.
The librarian will give you a date due
slip that admits you to the museum
through the "date due" printed on
the slip. Your pass expires on the due
date.
When you visit the destination of
your choice, you exchange your date
due slip for up to two free admis-
sions. No need to return anything to
the library.

Celebrate May Day!
For 36 years, the In the Heart of the Beast Puppet and
Mask Theatre has been holding a FREE May Day Celebration and
Parade in South Minneapolis. On the first Sunday in May, nearly
50,000 people come together to celebrate the newly arrived warm
weather with hand-built puppets and masks (some over 10 feet tall),
music, and performance in the street.
Bring your family to this great celebration of community!
When: Sunday, May 2nd from 12-5pm
Where: The parade is down Bloomington Ave in
South Minneapolis, ending at Powderhorn Park.
The celebration will follow the parade at the park.

Know your rights!! On May 22nd, 2009, President Obama signed
The Credit CARD Act of 2009. The intention behind this act is to
limit when issuers of consumer credit cards can increase interest
rates and ban billing and payment practices that the Federal Reserve consid-
ers “fair and deceptive”. Regulations were launched into effect on August
8th, 2009 and will continue implementation gradually through 2011.
New regulations will affect all credit card holders, allowing opt-out options!
