Installation
Ciprotec sub ballast mats are placed
without glueing them to the structure
surface. In case of repair works the mats
can be easily lifted up and be reused
if requested. The mats are placed
staggeredly in two layers avoiding
continuous joints.

Ciprotec is a black sub ballast mat made


of rubber granules bound with PUR.
The suitability as sub ballast mat in rail
traffic with axle loads up to 325 kN has
been proved in a pulsating fatigue test
and confirmed by the Prfamt fr Bau
von Landverkehrswegen, Technical University Mnchen, report no. 1499.
