Legal and ethical:
Legal:
Copyright was founded in 1988. Copyright is there to stop people using other
peoples work without consent or for credit on the same page. Its like a sort of
protection by the law for your work. Copyright in the UK will cover the likes of,
Literary, Dramatic, musical, artistic, typographical published issues, sound
recording and film. These are all covered by the law in its own separate ways.
This will apply to my campaign because all the content in my adverts will be my
own work.
Discrimination:
Discrimination is when somebody gets treated unfairly, just because of who they
are. The discrimination law means it will protect these people from being
discriminated. In my adverts I will not discriminate anybody for who they are, not
for their: Age, if theyre disabled, gender, Pregnancy, Race, Religion, Sex or
Sexual orientation.
Privacy:
Protection of data in the UK will aim to protect all of the rights of everybody to
keep their personal information private and as secure as possible
Ethical:
Ethnicity-Usually I would have problems with having different ethnicity, but if I
was doing this professionally I would have models with different races. Also, as
my campaign is strictly for men. I will have problems with it not including women
in it.
UK Code of non-broadcasted advertising:
This is a rule which includes the likes of non-broadcasted advertising, Sales
promotions, and direct marketing. This rule was made and stood by the
Committee of Advert (CAP)
