Tourism is a good way to obtain a good income for a country. As everything in

the world, tourism has its advantages and disadvantages.
Beside financial income, tourism helps people to discover national and local
heritages of each country, the history of each monument.
Disadvantages of the tourism consist in environmental pollution, because
many inhuman tourists throw rubbish everywhere or can easy destroy in some
way any historical monuments.
In my opinion it is very amazing and funny to travel, especially with a good
company. But at the same time everyone must respect the culture of each
country people visit.

I live in a small and beautiful country, Republic of Moldova. The beauty of the
country consist in its wonderful, green and unusual planes and hills, interesting
traditions and a rich history of the country.
People in Moldova are simple, hardworking and hospitable. In villages, most of
people work hardly at their own household, taking care of domestic animals and
gardens. People in cities are different and all of them have jobs and live a modern
life.
The old traditions of the country are respected in villages and folk groups from
each region. It is not so good, but the old traditions are not forgot and make us
special with this.

Cambridge dictionary defines stereotypes as a fixed idea about how a person
or thing is, especially wrong ideas about them.
Judging people, nation or a country by their stereotypes is a huge mistake. For
example, in England everyone do things by the book, drink a lot of tea and
English people are obsessed with the class system. This is true, but it doesnt
make English people boring and foreseeable, or arrogant, or impolite to other,
poorer people. Unfortunately many people cannot agree with this.
Because of wrong understanding of someones stereotypes, nations cannot live
in peace and cannot be friendly to everyone and this conduct to terrorist attacks,
wars and other kind of conflicts.

Robinson Crusoe is the main character of the book with the same title
Robinson Crusoe written by Daniel Defoe. Robinson is showed as a person who
is looking for self affirmation and retrieval self. He leaves the house and he gets

in the most incredible and dangerous adventures. This think makes him
adventurous and unforeseeable.
In my opinion, Robinson is also very smart. Even if he is alone on the unknown
island he manages to survive and even to be the owner of that island. In short
period he has a beautiful house, domestic animals, sources to make flour and
bread, vine yard and even a slave.
I like this book and recommend everyone to read it.

England is famous with its ancient cities, royal places, massive cathedrals and
legendary sites. For example in London people must visit Tower of London one
of the most important building in England. Another example can be Windsor and
its castle which is summer residence of British Royals. One more example is
Kendal and the Lake District National Park or Canterbury Cathedral. Something
interesting can find also in Scotland like Fingals Cave or Abbey Gardens on the
Isles of Scilly.
There can be a huge list with different regions and places to visit in Great
Britain and each of them are internationally known.

Moldova is a small country but with a lot of traditions and interesting holidays.
One of it is Wine day. Each year, on the 14 th of October, the most important and
big wine producers gather on the main street in Chisinau, the capital of Moldova
and serve pedestrians with their finest wines. Also, some producers attract
visitors with Moldovan celebrities that sing and make a good mood for each
person. First day, people can enjoy great taste of wines for free, and then, if they
like can buy something.
At the end of the day, there is a concert on the National Square celebrating the
citys day as well. This day is celebrating in almost all cities, but there participate
amateurs in wine producing.
I am not fond of wine, but I like the funny atmosphere and the good mood of
this day.

Each country in the world has special days celebrating important and funny
holidays. For example in England theris a terrible but at the same time funny day
Halloween, celebrated on the 31 st of October. In this day children are masked in
witches, ghosts, scarecrows, etc. and goes from house to house asking for
sweets. If someone do not want to serve them they can ruin something or dirty
the house with eggs or tomatoes. Another specific think for this holiday is carved
pumpkin representing lantern of Jack.
Even if it is an English holiday, Halloween are celebrated all over the world. In
some countries may be some different traditions and dates of celebrating.

A very beautiful, amazing and wonderful holiday is Valentines day. It is an

American holiday, celebrated on the 14th of February.
This day is consider the day of love. The day commemorates St. Valentine, the
patron saint of Welsh lovers. Girls and boys make presents to their partners and
try to spend all day together in a romantic and pleasant atmosphere. In the
United States, also people send to their beloved persons Valentine;s Day cards,
even in schools, colleges and universities.
In Moldova there is a similar day, Dragobete celebrated on the 24 th of
February. The name comes from a character from Romanian folklore who is
believed to be the son of Baba Dochia. In this day young people celebrates their
love.
