POS Configuration

After initial startup Printer need to be connected over Wireless to AP. To do that you have to press
Menu 1. POS config 1. AP Config. You will be asked to type in SSID.
To configure SSID: ssid you have to press 7prs Button and then 3 times press Alpha button
because S is third character on that button. You can switch from to small caps using button
Func.
After SSID configuration POS is asking for Wireless security type. Avilable options are:
0. no - Open system.
1. WEP128 Wire Equivalent Privacy with 128 key strenght.
2. WPA TKIP WPA-PSK with TKIP encryption.
3. WPA AES WPA-PSK with AES encryption.
After configuring Wireless interface POS will ask to reboot. Please confirm with ENTER Key.
To make sure POS is connected to AP an icon with signal strenght on top left corner will apear.

IP configuration
POS have a DHCP-Client enabled. Just make sure you running DHCP server on AP you are
connected to.

User-Manager Configuration.
In order to make POS working with User-Manager you have to specify UM IP address in POS. You
can do it going to MENU 1. POS Config 2. UM Config.
POS will ask you:
1. to type IP address of User Manager
2. Mikrotik API username (Where UM is installed in)
3. Mikrotik API password
To validate setting you can go to Menu 3. Diagnostics 2. Sign on to Mikrotik. You
should see Success result in that operation.

Tarrif Config
Last step POS need to have in order to create tickets are User-Manager Credit Names.
In our UM we have configured 3 Tarrifs: HOUR, DAY, and WEEK

POS need to have Credit NAME configured in. To do that you have to go to MENU 4.
Tarrif Config and configure all 3 tarrifs by putting Credit Names in: HOUR, DAY and WEEK.

Customisation
You can alter PrintOut Header and Footer in Ticket. To do that go to MENU 1. POS Config
4. Customisation 3. Set Ticket Header (or 4. Set Ticket Footer). Type using POS Keypad String
that will shown up on Ticket Printout.

LOGO
It is also Possible to put a custom image logo on ticket printout.
Image format has to be a monochromatic bitmap with max width of 384 Pixels. (To convert BitMap
to monochromatic format open it in Paint and then save it as in Paint in Format
Monochromatic Bitmap.
To upload BMP image to your POS save it in Mikrotik (Where UM is located) in /Files and name it
custlogo.bmp. Enable FTP server on Mikrotik and use FTP Client in POS to download it.
To Downaload BMP from FTP to POS you have to configure FTP Username and FTP Password.
To do that use MENU 3. FTP Config. You will be asked to put those information.
After username and password is configured use MENU 1. POS Config 4. Customisation
1. Get LOGO (FTP).
POS will establish connection to FTP and will download custlogo.bmp from it.

Mikrotik Configuration
1. Please remeber that POS uses 802.11b to connecto to AP. so Mikrotik AP needs to support
this mode.
2. 2. If you connect your Printer to same HotSpot network where your clients are connecting,
use IP Binding to passthrou this device.
3. 3. Enable API in /ip services
