One day, Rizka and friends are exercising at Manahan Stadium.

Rizka

: Hey, look! Theres a cool guy over there!

Aniza

: Where? Where?

Rizka

: There! Near the trash bin.

Alifah

: Is the guy who wearing red T-shirt?

Rizka

: Right! He is cool, isnt he?

Aniza

: Not really, he is smoking...

Rizka

: So what?

Qonita : Oh, come on, Riz! What so cool of a guy who smoke? -.Alifah

: I think so. Smoking is dangerous to our health.

Aniza

: Yes. I hate the smell of it.

Qonita : Dont you know that cigarettes contain hazardous substances?

Rizka

: Yeah, I know. But still, he is a cool guy.

Alifah

: Hah? Are you serious? He is killing himself.

Aniza

: What do you mean? I dont understand.

Rizka

: Killing himself? Does he drink poison? Ha-ha

Qonita : Of course. There are many dangerous chemical in a cigarette.

Alifah

: Yes, the famous substances are nicotine, tar and carbon monoxide.

Qonita : Nicotine can makes the smoker feels relax, but it can affect the nervous
system and blood circulation.
Aniza : I have read that tar consist of more than 4000 chemicals. And those
chemicals of them are carcinogenic chemicals.
Qonita : And carbon monoxide can bind hemoglobin in blood, so it makes blood
cant bind the oxygen.
Alifah

: And the most terrible thing is that carbon monoxide found as a car exhaust
fumes.

Rizka

: Hmm... Hey, you know Mr. Erick, right? He is also a smoker. But he always
looks fresh.

Qonita : But thats just the appearance. You dont know what is inside his body.
Aniza

: Yeah, there are garbages all inside his body! Hiii..

Rizka

: Well, I dont care about it. That guy still looks cool with a cigarette on his
hand.

Aniza

: Hey, dont you realize? Cigarettes bring many bad effects to us.

Alifah

: Beside it causes cancer, cigarettes can causes coronary heart, stroke,

osteoporosis, constricts arteries and many more.

Qonita : Cigarettes can make premature aging in our skin. Then we will looks older
than our age.
Alifah

: Yaks, just like... Twenty outside, fifty inside. Ha-ha. Poor him!

Qonita : Ha-ha. Isnt smoking can cause bad breath too?

Aniza

: Ewh. Thats disgusting.

Rizka

: Stop it, guys! Dont talk like you know everything.

Aniza

: Ugh! Why are so stubborn?

Qonita : Alifah is right. His teeths color will be yellow and his lips color will be black.

Rizka

: Okay-okay, if you all really hate that guy just because he is smoking then I
will make him stop smoking.

Alifah

: Oyeah? Can you really do that? Im not sure you can.

Aniza

: Is there a way to stopping it? I heard its so difficult, moreover if he have

addicted to cigarettes.

Rizka

: I know if its not easy but doesnt mean I cant.

Qonita : By the way, I know how to make him stop smoking.

Rizka

: Really? What is it? Tell me.

Qonita : Do you really really really want to know? Or just want to know?
Rizka

: Im serious, Qon... -___-

Qonita : Ha-ha. Okay okay. First solution, you should change cigarettes with bubble
gums.
Alifah

: What is the relation between cigarettes and bubble gums?

Qonita : Because according to the study, bubble gums can be used to be a nicotine
substitute therapy.
Aniza

: I also have read an article about it. It says that exercising can decrease
nicotine addicted.

Rizka

: Then, I just have to bring him here to exercise.

Aniza

: Thats right. Just what we are doing now. :D

Alifah

: And then? Anything else? I want to know it too!

Aniza

: Hey, why are so excited?

Alifah

: Nothing. Its just that...

Qonita : What happen?

Rizka

: Yeah, just tell us :D

Alifah

: Actually, my boyfriend is smoker too

Aniza

: If I were you, I would break him up.

Alifah

: I did! He always say yes when I told him to stop but he never do it. I was
really hopeless so that I broke him up.

Qonita : Thats a right decision. If youre still with him, you will get the impacts too.
Alifah

: What do you mean?

Aniza

: It means you breath in the smoke of cigarettes and indirectly youre

smoking as well.

Qonita : Yes. And it usually called passive smokers.

Rizka

: Is being a passive smoker also dangerous?

Aniza

: Yes, it is. Even the danger that must be borne by passive smokers is three
times than the active smokers.

Alifah

: Haa? How come?

Qonita : Because the toxins of cigarette smoke from active smokers which inhaled
by passive smokers are not filtered.
Rizka

: Oh, I see. Hisssh why the smokers are so selfish? They dont care with the
people around them.

Alifah

: Indeed. Thats one of the reasons why I hate smokers.

Aniza

: Ok, ok... Forget it. Lets talk about something else.

Alifah

: Okay. Anyway, Christmas is coming. Where will you go on holiday?

Qonita : I want to going back home. I really miss my family.

Alifah

: Me too. I miss my parents and my sisters. How about you, Ja?

Aniza

: Hm, I dont know. I dont have any plan yet. Actually my cousin will be
married next Thursday and my Mom wants me to go to her wedding. But I
still dont know whether Ill go or not.

Alifah

: Then how about you, Riz? Wont you go back home to Bekasi?

Rizka

: No. I have gone home three times this year. I still dont know too. But, my
friends in Jogja told me to go to Jogja instead of go back home.

Aniza

: What will you do in Jogja?

Rizka

: They said we will go around Jogja.

Qonita : Hey, if you want to go to Jogja, you shouldnt miss Malioboro.

Alifah

: Shes right. There are many things such as clothes, accessories, foods and
souvenirs with low price in Malioboro.

Rizka : Oh, I have heard about it. What else?

Alifah

: Taman Sari is a good place too. There are many pools. They used to be a
place where the king, queen, and the kings concubine to take a bath.

Qonita : But I suggest you to go around Jogja at night.

Rizka

: Why?

Qonita : Because besides the weather is not so hot, you can also see the beauty of
Jogja at night.
Aniza

: Really? Aaah, I want to go there too.

Alifah

: Hey, why dont the both of you go there together? You can rent a motel.

Aniza

: Thats a good idea!

Alifah

Rizka

Alifah

: But I need to ask permission to my mother. I dont want her to be worry

about me.

Aniza

: Okay, just call her now. I will help you talk to her. I can make many reasons
why you must join me to go to Jogja, hehe

Qonita : Makes many reason? But dont be a liar Ja, because the people wont
believe you once you lie, haha
Alifah

: Okay, Ive decide to join you all to go to Jogja. But you must fulfill your
promise to ask permission to my mother.

Aniza

: Yes, I do. Im not a big fat liar, friend.

Qonita : Hey, I have heard of it. It seems like the title of a movie.
Rizka

: Yes, the title of the movie is Big Fat Liar. I have watched it with my family.

Qonita : That is an old movie. But the message in that movie is very important for
everyone who watched it.
Aniza

: I understand Qon, we should never tell a lie to someone, because once you
lie, you will never can stop it.

Qonita : Then if the people know the truth, they will never believe you forever ever
after.
Alifah

: Its terrible. I dont want to be a big fat liar. If people dont believe me, how
about one day I really need them, but they wont help me.

Rizka

: I agree with you fah. Eh, how about us? Will we really rent a motel in
Jogja?

Aniza

: Of course, the more people come, the cheaper the cost we spend.

Qonita : Thats sounds good. I am getting excited.

without spend more money.

: It means just go slowly and carefully as long as we arrive to the destination

safely.

Aniza

Rizka

Qonita : Thats a good idea. We will arrive at about 10 a.m then...

Alifah

: Of course we find a motel to be rented first.

Aniza

: Right. We must rest a bit after a long trip too.

Rizka

: What will we do next?

Qonita : We will go around Jogja. But, what place will we visit first?
Aniza

: Prambanan! Ive only been there once, back then its almost close when I
visit it so I couldnt walk around as long as I want.

Rizka

: Oh, poor you!

Qonita : Okay. We will go there at about 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Aniza

: Yeaaah! Thank you, guys! :*

Alifah

: After that, we must go to Malioboro. I want to buy some accessories.

Rizka

: Me too. I know a place that sell good quality accessories with low price.

Qonita : Wah, I want it too. Okay, then we go to Malioboro. Whats next?

Rizka

: How about Taman Pintar? I heard there is a park called Taman Lampion
and its view is really beautiful at night.

Aniza

: Really? Then I agree.

Alifah

: Hm, but we must go back to motel before 9 p.m. or my Mom will be angry
with me and never give me permission again.

Qonita : No problem, Lif. You have our promise :D

Aniza

: So, what will we do the next day? Dont tell me we go back to Solo!
