FORMODE PROJECT

In this project we were asked to


create a conceptual dress in wich
we had to put toghether a theme, an
historycal period, a style and kinds of
colours.
The theme, wich was the same for
everyone was a bird, and I chose
the Long Taled Glossy Starling;
the historical period wich I had was
the Liberty, the style was Angular
Framework and the colors were the
pure ones.
My project focuses primarily on the
concept of extension, starting from
the elongated shape of the bird,
while maintaining sinuous shapes,
characteristic of Liberty. The dress
is made with a soft and compact
fabric in order to make the most of
the sinuous forms while maintaining
a certain rigidity that recalls the style
Angular Framework . The style is
also recalled by the internal
fragmentation of the dress.
The tone in which it was made is that
of the blue, characteristic of the bird.

Il progetto si concentra principalmente sul concetto di allungamento ed estensione, partendo


dalla caratteristica forma allungatata delluccello
Long-Taled Glossy Starling, mantenendo al contempo di una sinuosit delle forme, caratteristica
dello stile Liberty. Labito verr realizzato con un
tessuto morbido e compatto in modo da rendere
al meglio la sinuosit delle forme e mantenendo
comunque in s una certa rigidit che richiami lo
stile Angular Framework. Le tonalit nei quali verr realizzato sono tendenzialmente quelle del blu,
caratteristiche delluccello. Il risultato finale dovr
essere un insieme armonico di sinuosit, fluidit
e d eleganza, mantenedo al contempo uno stile
Angular framework.

HISTORY OF MODERN ART PROJECT


This is a History of modern art
project in wich we were asked to
design an outfit being inspired by the
artists we were studying.
In this outfit I wanted to play with
colors, trying to create lights effects
and creating in some spots styled
shapes.
Ive been inspired by some
masterpieces from two different
artists, Olafur Eliasson and Keith
Haring.
Eliasson in particular catched my
attention for his ability to make
colors something personal and
authentic and for his ability of
creating complex optical
phenomenons and being able to give
a unique chromatic results.
The other artist which Ive been
inspired by is Keith Haring,
famous exponent of Graffiti art,
for his ability of activate, through
drawing, the surfaces. Styled figures
are a characteristic of his
masterpieces, which they appear in
each of his works.

This is an illustration from a famous artist wich I re-made.

For this subject we were asked


to create a fall-winter collection,
starting from some trends that
the teacher showed us. At the
end of the course togheter with MOOD
the Prototipation subject we
had to make an outfit of the
collection.
For this collection fall winter
2016/17 I decided to operate a
fusion between two different
trends: METAMORPHOSIS and
FREESTYLE.
The collection, which is full of
light, will focuses on revised
shapes and exalt the woman's
body. My idea was to create
both rigid and soft shapes.
It is a wraparound design
based on sensual materials,
angular lines and curves, black
mutations, reflections and
sparkling materials that play
with the light of day and night.
The materials used were
mostly sequins, velvet and
leather. The colour range is
based on warm colours ranging
from brown to beige, taupe and
black. The end result of the
collection is a perfect harmony
of elegance and sensuality.
