Title Seat structure
Abstract A seat structure applicable to both a normal posture and a comfortable posture, in which a
sufficiently relaxed resting posture is available and an excellent comfort is obtained while seated.
A cushion frame is supported by a rear link plate and a front link plate, set such that the rear
link plate within its movable range has a displacement angle larger than a displacement angle of
the front link plate, and an angle between a side frame portion of a base frame and the rear link
plate becomes smaller than an angle between the side frame portion and the front link plate when
the plates are rotated and moved to the forward-most positions. Consequently, a seating surface
angle of the cushion frame increases as the rear link plate and the front link plate are rotated and
moved forward. An inclination angle of a back frame itself does not vary but the seating surface
angle of the cushion frame can be varied according to a movement of a person.

App. No. 20100090505 Assignee
Title Automobile seat
Abstract An automobile seat includes a swinging motion restraint mechanism for restraining a swinging
motion of a sub-frame relative to side frames. The swinging motion restraint mechanism includes
a swing axis mounted on the sub-frame, a swinging motion restraint member rotatably mounted
on one of the side frames and having a first contact portion and a second contact portion, both of
which are brought into contact with the swing axis one at a time, and an elastic member for biasing
the swinging motion restraint member toward the swing axis. In an initial state in which no load
is applied to a seat back, the first contact portion of the swinging motion restraint member is held
in contact with the swing axis, while when a load greater than a predetermined value is inputted
to the seat back from before, the sub-frame is caused to swing about a hinge to thereby move
a headrest forward, and the second contact portion of the swinging motion restraint member
is brought into contact with the swing axis, thereby holding the headrest at a position after the
movement.

Title Vehicle seat lumbar system
Abstract A seat assembly includes a seat defining an outer seating surface. An adjustment mechanism is
mounted on the seat and includes a member movable relative to the seating surface for altering
the contoured shape of the seating surface. A sensor is mounted on the seat. The sensor detects
the location of an applied force acting on the seating surface by an occupant seated on the seat
back and detects an applied pressure distribution of the force exerted on the seating surface. The
sensor supplies a signal indicative of the location of the applied force and the applied pressure
distribution of the force. A controller receives the signal and is operable by a seat occupant for
storing information corresponding to the location of the applied force and the applied pressure
distribution of the force. The controller is operable to move the member by the adjustment
mechanism from an initial position to a subsequent position dependent on a subsequent detection
of a location of a second applied force and an applied pressure distribution of the force detected
by the sensor.

Title Convertible carrying apparatus
Abstract A convertible carrying apparatus for items such as toys comprises a flat sheet of flexible material
with an optional smaller and centered rigid section. The sheet may be one or several layers and
may have any shaped perimeter including octagonal, square, or circular. One or more gatherers
are disposed about the perimeter of the sheet and a permanent or removeable grip is attached
to one of the gatherers. The gatherers may be two or more handles, two or more ties, or a
continuous drawstring that is threaded through a channel around the perimeter of the sheet and
exposed at two or more locations around the perimeter of the sheet. The grip may include a
fastener for securing it around the gatherers. When an item or many items are placed on the
sheet, the gatherers can be collected or secured together with the grip. When the sheet is lifted
by the grip, the sheet becomes a carrying apparatus for the items originally placed on the sheet.
When desired, the carrying bag can set down, the grip can be unfastened, and the sheet can

Title Lever type easy pull crown cap
Abstract A lever type easy pull crown cap. The lever type easy pull crown cap has a body with a boss
extending from a central portion that transitions into a rim with an edge. A pull-ring is fastened
to the crown body without piercing the body. An inner surface of the body includes a score line
extending from the edge along the rim and across the central portion towards the boss and returns
outward across the central portion after travelling around the boss to terminate in a tail segment.
The tail segment extends along a portion of the rim without reaching the edge. Pulling upward
on the pull-ring fractures the body along the score line and separates a tear strip portion from the
body, breaking the seal between the lever type easy pull crown cap and the bottle.

Title Self-righting cap for a beverage bottle
Abstract A bottle cap having internal threads compatibly engageable with external threads on soda or
similar bottles and having lightweight, down-hanging thin strips formed from plastic or another
suitable material depending from a lower edge of the cap structure. These plastic strips, in
cooperation with an optional weight in the upper portion of the cap, cause a dropped cap to
orient itself in an upward-facing direction. Such an orientation keeps the bottle engaging surfaces
of the cap from contacting the floor or other surface upon which the cap may land. In alternate
embodiments, the cap may be provided as a slip-on configuration for placing over an existing
bottle cap to provide the same self-righting benefit to the existing bottle cap.

Title Synthetic resin bottle
Abstract The technical problem to be solved by this invention is to design a bottle shape that improves the
bottle rigidity and strength in the lateral direction, without increasing the cost of material required
to thicken the bottle wall. The object of this invention is to provide a synthetic resin bottle at a
low cost in such a way that the bottles can be used smoothly on the carrier line, in the vending
machines, and in storage on the stacks with no deformation, and are capable of performing a
vacuum-absorbing function enough to be used in hot filling. Multiple pillar sections in a projected
strip-like shape are disposed on the body of a synthetic resin bottle, wherein the pillar sections
are inclined spirally at a uniform angle of gradient (x3b1;) relative to central axis of the bottle
and disposed in parallel to one another, so that the cylindrical body wall is prevented from being
deformed by the pressure force that acts in a lateral direction.
