The nature seems a character itself, because it interacts with the ancient marin
er, when he killed the albatross. the mariner offend the spiritual world linked
to the natural things, so he is punished. it is only at the end of the poem that
the mariner begins to respect the natural world, in order to respect god

and reached the south pole. the appearance of the albatross dove the ship northw

is written in fourth-one stanzas, it is full of repetitions , it contains sort o
f refrain (9-13-18-20-38-40). it tells a dramatic story in verse it deals with s
upernatural events, it is written arcown language and it is a mixture of dialogu
es and narrations. the narration of the voyage is interrupted twice: at line 3640 with the brutal music and at lines 76-80, when the forest says what te throug
ht. the wedding guest seems curious, spellbound and frightend. At lines (41-50)
the poet personificated the storm saying it is strong, and he used the same poet
ic device when he personificated the ire ,saying it howled: the poet saw all the
natural world as connected to human being, and he saw the albatross as the bird
of good amen
