Limelight is an internationally recognised print and online magazine with a print circulation of
12,650 and in excess of 70,000 unique browsers per month. Originally a subsidiary of the
Australian Broadcasting Corporation and sister publication of London's Gramophone magazine,
it is now independently owned with a focus on in-depth and specialised news in the Australian
classical music and arts scene. It shares partnerships with organisations including the Sydney
Symphony Orchestra, Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and Sydney Theatre Company.

Key Responsibilities:
Working at Limelight, I have been engaged in researching and composing diverse and original
copy for print and online, editing contributors' work, updating social media and laying out articles
using Photoshop and InDesign. I have interviewed numerous high-profile figures including cofounder of Lonely Planet Maureen Wheeler, film director and producer Baz Luhrmann and
German orchestral conductor Christoph Eschenbach.
I have successfully continued to operate in this role for the last six months whilst travelling in
Europe. Working by distance has enabled me to research and write several prominent travel
articles for the magazine on the arts scene in various European capitals, including Stockholm,
Berlin, Madrid and Lisbon.
Key Achievements:
- Upkeep of magazine online presence, including issuing weekly newsletters,
synthesising large amounts of information with minimal lead times
- Appointed to the role of Deputy Editor on a temporary basis in June 2013 after only
being with the magazine for four months

Representing the magazine at Sydney Festival events and press junkets, providing live
reviews and recommendations for readers
Representing Limelight at the Australian Festival of Chamber Music, a prestigious tenday celebration of music in Cairns, Queensland
Co-ordinating interviews with internationally renowned figures, bridging intercultural

I was responsible for planning each issue of the magazine, issuing formal written offers to
