Instructions for choosing Evaluation Methods for course:

For 3 credit
Evaluation
Criterion for
various
credits

minimum 4 components of
evaluations comprising of mid-term
exam, end-term exam, 4 quizzes and

Assignment, Project, Case, etc.

For 1.5 credit


minimum 3 components of evaluations
comprising of end-term exam, 2
quizzes and one of the either
components CP, Assignment, Project,
Case, etc.

The instructor shall necessarily use written examination(s) for evaluating students in the compulsory
and elective courses.
The weightage for the end term examination should not be less than 30 per cent.
No evaluation component should have a weightage in excess of 40% in the final evaluation. The
maximum weightage for class participation or oral examination should not be more than 20%.
