AP EXAMS BEGIN THIS WEEK

Dear Student:
Thank you for your interest in the Advanced Placement program at Woodrow Wilson High School. Your exam schedule is listed on the
next page. Review it carefully so you are totally aware of your exam location, dates, and times. You should bring the following items to
the examination room:
 School ID or any government issued ID with picture
 Several sharpened No. 2 pencils with erasers
 Black or dark blue ink pen
 A calculator and extra batteries if you are taking AP Calculus, Statistics, Chemistry, or Physics exam. Please visit Calculator
Policy to learn about authorized calculators for each of these exams.
 A ruler or straightedge if you are taking an AP Physics exam.
 Sack lunch and drink. If you are taking 2 exams on the same day, you will not have time to get lunch.

You must not bring the following items to the exam room:
 Cell phones, computers, photographic equipment, or any personal digital devices IMPORTANT NOTE: Students who use cell
phones or PDA's during break will be dismissed. (Please leave these items outside the room or in the car).
 Scratch paper, books, compasses, dictionaries, or notes.
 Watches that beep or have an alarm.
 Rulers and straightedges (except for AP Physics)

Get enough sleep and rest before your test and eat a nutritious breakfast. You are required to arrive in the exam room no later than 15
minutes prior to your exam; 7:45 am for the morning administration; 11:45 for the afternoon administration. Doors will be locked and you
will not be admitted to the testing areas if you are late. You will not be dismissed early until the exam has officially ended. Do not ask to
leave early if you finish before the end of the test, as your request will be denied. You are allowed to bring a snack and beverage for your
10-minute break. However, eating or drinking is prohibited while you are taking an exam. Bring a sweater in case the room temperature
is below your comfort level. You must abide by the policies of both our school and the College Board during the entire testing period. Any
misconduct will be reported and could jeopardize your AP Exam grade.

Please review the Bulletin for Students and Parents in English or Spanish.

If you have any additional concerns, please feel free to contact me or your AP teacher. Good luck and do your best!

Sincerely,
Dinnah Escanilla
