Letter of Motivation

My name is Aleem Muhammad and I am a national of Pakistan . I have

completed B.Sc (Hons.) Food Technology, from PMAS Arid Agriculture University
Rawalpindi. For whole of my degree I maintained a CGPA of 3.61/4.00.
Food is among the basic necessities of life and life is not possible without
having sufficient food. That is the reason why I selected food science & technology
as my subject with the aim to work in the field of formulating safe, nutritious and
wholesome food. I have a strong desire to perform research on food items and their
safety ensurance .
My strong motivation to join the masters program of management is based
on the fact that now a days ,the role of the technologists no matter to which field
they belong is strongly dependent on their managerial skills. For instance
considering my case I envisage to become a production manager of some
multinational food company .So in that case it is a kind of obligatory that I must
have management skills in order to deliver efficiently in the role of production
manager.The masters program is management inculcates in its curriculum all
modules of immense importance .The module of supply chain management
,management and strategy and human resource management particularly interest
me .I am pretty much convinced that this masters will provide me the opportunity
to develop expertise pertaining to management in me .
I also have achieved Ielts certification with 7.0 bands which serve amply as
an evidence of my proficiency in english language . Then I also possess a training
experience of six weeks acquired through doing internship at an ISO certified food
industry in my home city. I worked there as production manager internee and
Assistant Quality Control manager .That internship cleared one thing to me that if I
want to succeed in a role of production manager I must have a grip on different
aspects of management including accounting ,strategy and supply chain
management. I feel myself competent and skillful enough to work and be a part of
such an honorable masters program. This will enhance my team work abilities and
will allow me to work even harder and diligently in the challenging and demanding
atmosphere. Along with that i foresee my personality to be carved in a multicultural society, and learning new languages and adopting some beneficial traits of a
new culture is always exciting .

This was all in my mind on basis of which I applied for this program and I am
sure that participation in this program will enrich me with valuable knowledge, skills
and expertise and at the same time will allow me to share all this with others, as
'Knowledge is Sharing'.
