East Atchison hosts golf match

On Wednesday, April 6,
2016, the East Atchison
Golf Team hosted a tri-meet
with Mound City and MidBuchanan. All three teams
battled the wind, but were
able to get an entire round
in. This was the first home
match for East Atchison this
year. Mid-Buchanan placed
first with a team score of
193. East Atchison came in
second with a team score

of 217. Mound City did not

have enough golfers for a
full team. The match medalist was Kolby Korell from
Mid-Buchanan with a 44.
East Atchison Varsity
was led by Jayton Johnson
with a score of 50. Keevan
Baker shot a 53. Colin Joesting and Brendon Bruns tallied 57s and Dayton Murry
finished with a 58.
