APPLYING FOR POSSESSORY DOCUMENT


A tax declaration is not an absolute proof of ownership or a land title issued by the Philippine Government (administrative proceedings) is considered as unregistered land not covered with Torrens System Law. Therefore, apply for a POSSESSORY DOCUMENT under TORRENS SYSTEM LAW Real Property Act 1858 (P.D. 27 P.D. 175 - P.D. 410 - P.D. 892). STEPS: WITHOUT LAND TITLE or Tax Declared Estate(s) 1. Find a land surveyor to survey the land area. A sketch plan must be presented signed by the land surveyor. 2. Visit the BLP Cooperative Offices. 3. Proceed for the application requirements and prepare the necessary documents: (a) 3 certified copies of tax declaration (b) 3 certified copies of sketch plan (c) 3 copies of BIO-DATA with Complete Information or fill-up application form provided. (d) 3 pcs. 1x1 ID Picture (e) 3 pcs. 2x2 ID Picture (f) 1 copy of Community Tax Certificate (Cedula) 4. Submit the application requirements. 5. Pay for the possessory document fee (depending upon the size/zoning of the land area) 6. Wait for the approval. Processing in application of POSSESSORY DOCUMENT will take (15) fifteen to (30) thirty days (maximum). 7. Receive the membership ID and the POSSESSORY DOCUMENT.
