If you look at the top of your screen, you should see the ‘Teacher’s Pet’ toolbar (On the

‘Add-Ins’ tab in
Microsoft Word 2007). The drop-down menu contains buttons that perform sets of actions called ‘Macros’ to
the text in a document. Before using the macros you should read these brief instructions:
To make the Teacher’s Pet toolbar available for use on other documents you need to create shortcuts to this
file in the Microsoft Office ‘Start-up’ folder and ‘Workgroup Templates’ folder. To do this, simply double-click
on the ‘Activate’ button below. If you decide you want to remove the Teacher’s Pet toolbar, you can double-
click on the ‘Remove’ button at any time.

If you are unable to activate the Teachers Pet, it may be because your Macro security is set to ‘High’ or ‘Very
high’. Please refer to the ‘Macro Security’ section at bottom of the document to find out how to correct this.
