Kept a safe, fun, and engaging environment for elementary school students, ages 4-12, both after and
before school hours.
Encouraged all students of all ages to play games, both educational and age-appropriate, together providing
not just an interactive but comfortable community-based classroom where friendly relations are built
through cooperation and kindness.
Built relations with school staff, students, and parents by volunteering assistance in after-school activities

Received 20.5 hours of professional development training in school-aged childcare in Oakland County, as
well as received instruction on basic first aid and treatment/procedures for student-related diagnoses of lice,
allergies, seizures/epilepsy, diabetes, and blood-borne pathogens.
Tutored children from kindergarten to high school levels in math and reading in order to introduce new
topics and enhance independent, problem-solving skills that are essential to improving grades and
standardized test scores, such as the ACT and SAT.
Assisted in also tutoring preschool children, as well as special needs children thus requiring flexibility and
patience for all age groups and backgrounds.
Planned customized homework for each individual students progress in the Kumon program, as well as
graded and entered all grades into the Kumon grade book program.

floor.
Utilizes Point of Sale computers to complete customer checkouts, while prioritizing department
responsibilities to ensure they are carried out.
