Beldocs is the only fully-featured


Serbian film festival exclusively
dedicated to current documentary
production.
We are orientated towards
artistically and socially relevant
cinema, trying to include all the
most remarkable documentaries of
the year in our annual selection.

Usually we end up showing the


current Oscar winner, as well as the
awarded movies from top rated
festivals like Berlinale, Venice,
Sundance, Jihlava, Visions Du Reel,
Hot Docs, IDFA, CPH:Dox, Leipzig
and others.

development, each year we
organize unique promoting actions
and side events.
Regular festival features include
parties, panel discussions,
renowned filmmakers masterclasses and Beldocs Market a
festival segment aimed at regional
TV distribution.

We Put All the


Nicest Ingredients

We screen around 40 films


per manifestation in few
prestigious projection halls,
with half of their authors
being brought to Belgrade
for Q&A sessions, lecturing,
festival promotion,
networking etc. Each year we
award the best Serbian and
the best foreign
documentary. We are present
at other cultural happenings
within Serbia and we
regularly promote our
domestic selection abroad.

40 projections in 4 prestigious
cinemas around the capital.

Accredited 120 reporters.

Organised 23 Q&A sessions, 1


prestigious master class, 3
media conferences, 1 panel
discussion, 4 parties, 1 cocktail
party for the eminent donors
and local stakeholders, and
also the Beldocs Market an
annual gathering of the most
prominent aquisition editors
and festival programmers in
this part of Europe.

Had happened, due the insufficient
budget and the prevalence of
volunteering workforce within
Beldocs teams. We will easily
overcome this issue with newly
generated income from
commercial sponsorships.
