The reagents contain Sodium Azide as a

preservative but provide no hazard at the stated
concentrations and if used in the prescribed
manner.

Specimen may also contain other potentially infectious material

e.g: HIV. Extreme care should be taken when handling human
specimen.

Physical and Chemical Properties:

Both the reagents are liquid stable and are colourless

solutions.
All components are water soluble and have a pH between
7 and 8.

Eyes: Rinse immediately with plenty of water. Seek

medical attention if irritation persists.
Ingestion: Wash mouth with plenty of water and
seek medical attention.
Skin Contact: Wash skin thoroughly with soap and
water. In the event of redness or itching seek
medical advice.
