2.GETTING STARTED
Congratulations on buying a iCraig Camera. This device will enable you to easily
check your loved ones by viewing them while you are away.
1.Initial Setup
To get started, you will need:
Your wireless router, its network name, and password if necessary.

An Android Smart Phone or Tablet ( Android Version 4.0 or later) or an iPhone,


iPad, or iPod touch (iOS Version 6.1 or later).

Make sure your Smart phone or tablet, the wifi status is ON.

2.Plug the iCraig Cam into a power outlet.


Insert the micro USB cable ( included) to the Micro USB jack on the device. Plug the full size
USB jack of connection cable to supplied AC/DC USB Adaptor to wall outlet having AC 100240V~, 50/60 Hz.
Using the supplied AC/USB Adaptor for Power Supply. Other models charger may damage the
device.

3.Download the iCraig SMART App from the App Store or Google Play.

After installing your app, open the APP, press and to choose Add new online
Cameraicon to activate the APP.
4.Check your iCraig cam LED lights which indicate the status as below:
Blue LED Light Slow
Blue LED light Fast
Blue LED light

Flash ==== Ready for new connection mode.

Flash=== In progress for connection

Solid blue live=== connected.

3. Connect IP Camera at AP (Access Point) Mode


There are two methods to setup your iCraig IP camera connection without
QR scan and connection by UID (QR Code) scan. Both methods require
connect your smartphone with IP camera at AP (Access Point) mode. See
below:

When the iCraig Cam Blue LED light is flashing slowly, Go to Settings -----> Choose
Wi-Fi on your Smart Phone or tablet to look for the wifi name similar to
PQXXXXX_XXXXXXXXXXXX_XXXXXX

Connect to your Camera with the Phone or tablet


Tap on the Camera wifi name appear on your phone to connect the device. After a
success connection, your phone will show the camera WIFI name on your screen as
connected wifi.

4. Method 1 connection without QR Scan


(Make sure IP camera Access Point is Connected with Smartphone)
Open the APP Choose + on the top right screen, then Tap on Add new
online Device.

Tap on Search(LAN) , all connected camera will display on your screen.

Tap on camera you want to connect and press OK to connect. Wait until the new
camera Logging in successfully, you will see the camera online status appear on
your screen. Now app connected with IP camera through AP (Access Point) mode.

Connect IP Camera to WIFI network


Tap the Setting icon
advance Config.

on Live Cam page (see as below) and choose the

name.
Input your wifi network password if needed.

Tap OK, it will display confirmation message if all required wifi name/password is correct.
Then touch OK, the camera will start to reboot. Once complete, it shows Device
reboot

The new camera will logging in to your home network automatically, wait until the
camera appears online, X User (blue word) successfully. Now it is finish setup.

5. Method 2 - connection by UID (QR Code) Scan (Make sure IP


camera Access Point is Connected with Smartphone)
This is another method to connect IP camera by QR code scan, procedure as
below:
Open the APP Choose + on the top right screen, then Tap on Setup Device
WIFI connection.

Locate your QR Code label on the back of wifi camera which is similar to this

use your Smart Phone to aim on the QR code after pressing the QR SCAN icon on
the APP screen.
Choose your wifi network by identifying your network name
Input your wifi network password if needed.

Press Start Configuring Wifi icon to start connection.

Wait until the Add New Device icon display on app screen, and then touch it. You
can see new connected device shows on Search Device page (see below)

Tap the new device then Press OK, the new camera will logging in, wait until the
camera appear online, X User (blue word) successfully. Now it is finish setup.

6. Reset (Reset button on rear of camera)


If you want to connect IP camera with other network or camera works abnormally.
You can press and hold reset button locate at rear of camera 15 seconds to reset it
as manufacturer stage (erase all network data and P2P password will set to
manufacturer default (8888).

Use small metal pin to

7.Other Functions
Touch the camera screen on your smartphone, it will appear control panel as below:

8.Settings:
Tap the Setting icon
on your Live Cam page, see below pictures
Choose Modify Camera to rename the camera.
Choose Delete the camera stored in this app.
Choose reconnect to reconnect your camera online again.

Tap on Advance Configs Set Up:

Alarm Config
Select motion detection sensitivity by pressing on the icon and sensitivity screen will
pop up for you to choose.
Choose disable if you do not wish to have this alert.
- To set up motion detection by enabling PIR sensor by sliding the icon to the right
hand side.

To record on your micro SD card (Micro SD is not

1. Insert the Micro SD card and format.
2. Choose Record Resolution before
using this feature
3. Choose File Length to set your
recording time
4. Tap OK to enable recording

Change P2P password:


- Default password: 8888 and you may change the password with 4 to 10 digits.
**If

you have forgotten the password, press the RESET button on the back of
the device for about 15s.

Time Setting:
To sync with the smart phone and the app on real time by pressing Device Time
Sync
with App.

Camera reboot:
Enable remotely restart the camera. If camera works abnormally, you can do this
step to reboot/restart camera.

9.Mounting Your Camera (optional)


Attach screws to wall and hang plate onto screws (Screws and hang plate not
included)

10.Troubleshooting
Cannot power on the Device
Check your power source.
T

Cannot go online
Check if your WI-FI setting is correct, proper password may be needed.
Check if your router is working properly.
Check your signal, your device may not be to connect due to weak WI-FI signal.

Cannot hook up with WI-FI or the WI-FI signal is weak


Make sure WI-FI is available in your location and you are authorized (with correct password) to
hook up it.
The device may be too far from the signal source. Move your device closer to the signal source.
