SPV SYSTEM DESCRIPTION
(I) HYBRID SPV POWER SYSTEM

Hybrid SPV power system is connected to electricity grid. The system is design to
fulfill the power requirement to run the office /Home appliance. This type of system
is common at locations where electricity supply is insufficient or is frequently
interrupted power available and to make it environmental friendly power backup
system.
In India the annual global solar radiation is about 5.8-6.0 KWh/ sq m per day with
about 2300-3200 sun-shine hours per year. Solar radiations represent the earths
most abundant energy source. The perennial source of solar energy provides
unlimited supply, has no negative impact on the environment. The solar
photovoltaic (PV) modules convert solar radiation from the sun into electrical
energy in the form of direct current (DC). Converting solar energy into electricity is
the answer to the mounting power problems in the rural areas. Its suitability for
decentralized applications and its environment-friendly nature make it an
attractive option to supplement the energy supply from other sources.
If we could install Solar Photovoltaic system for required powers, adequately
cutting downharmful green house gases and save tunes of coal and petroleum for
future.
This system consists of solar panels, charge controllers, rechargeable batteries and
the various accessories. The rechargeable battery stores electricity produced by
the solar panels. The charge controller acts as an intelligent central unit where
solar panel, batteries and the various accessories are connected and monitored.
