Instructions regarding question pattern and marks distribution
1. Papers 813 shall carry 50 marks each.
1. In each of these papers students shall answer 3 short essay type questions carrying 12
marks each (within 400 words) and 7 short type questions carrying 2 marks each (within
40 words).
3. In each of these papers, 8 short essay type and 12 short type questions shall be set with the
following options:
a. 2 short essay type questions with internal choice from each of the 4 units.
b. 3 short type questions from each of the 4 units.
1. In paper 14 students shall face by way of internal assessment:
a. One seminar carrying 25 marks.
b. One unit test carrying 50 marks.
c. a viva-voce examination carrying 25 marks.
