1.

PURPOSE
1.1. The purpose of this work instruction is to set up flexible copper
bunching machines based on the line activities and get ready machine for
production.
2. SCOPE
2.1. This work instruction is applicable for flexible copper bunching
machineries of BELAYABCABLE manufacturing plc.
3. WORKING PROCEDURE
3.1. Principle
The principle of this work instruction is based on one of the
stranding type processing called Bunching, In this process,
smaller individual wires are twisted or braided together to
produce larger wires that are more flexible than solid wires of
similar size, the high speed single bunching machine is used
to bunch flexible wires in one predefined conductor, the
smaller individual wires passes through the head of fine wire
pay-off rack, and goes down stream of take-off arrangement.
Finally the bunched conductor winded on bobbin to insulation
or stranding unit.

3.5. Action procedure


3.5.1. Check the machine condition during stoppage from the previous
report written in log book.
3.5.2. Check if the process finished according to the given work order.
3.5.3. Make ready tools and measuring devices.
3.5.4. Make working area clear.

3.5.5. Check if the compressor is functioned or working.


3.5.6. Report if machine fault found.
3.5.7. Observe the production order.
3.5.8. Select number of wires visually as per production order and load
every single wires in every pay off side.
3.5.9. Check and adjust tension of every single wire properly.
3.5.10. Select the wire strands diameter and check its diameter using
micrometer as per production order.
3.5.11. Set up the pitch length by changing gear arrangement as per
production order.
3.5.12. Turn on the power switch of principal cabinet by pulling up.
3.5.13. Set up the needed quantity on the meter display as per
production order.
3.5.14. Load the appropriate plastic spool as pool production order.
3.5.15. Choose the direction of lay (s or z) according to the production
order.
3.5.16. Press the start button (green color) and start production.
3.5.17. Give sample (minimum one meter long) to quality for conformity
check.
3.5.18. Dont start production until the quality officer tell u to go on or
not.
3.5.19. Start the production if the design conforms to the standard
otherwise wait until design change.
3.5.20. Machine will stop according to the previously adjusted quantity.
3.5.21. Open or pull the door of the take up.
3.5.22. Cut the bunched conductor using a pliers and take out bobbin
from the take off.
3.5.23. Take out the production tag, fill out every information needed as
production order and stamp it on bobbin side.
3.5.24. Precede production or ask if there is new production order.
3.5.25. Before leave the production area or factory fills out the process
monitoring form and on logbook.
