Analysed composite aircraft wing skin with hat stringers and found optimal parameters to minimize bending
as it undergoes typical wing loading of a commercial aircraft.
The analysis of the composite laminate was done using ABAQUS along with safety analysis using various
failure criteria.

PAPERS
AND
PUBLICATIONS

Co-Captain of Collegiate team with 25 members involved in the design and analysis of ATV for SAE Mini
Baja.

Modelling and analysis of extrusion die and bolt ejector pin

Applied Mechanics and Materials Vol. 591 (2014) pp 137-141.
Designed an extrusion die for bolt ejector pin using CAD tool and analysed it for the maximum extrusion load
condition using ANSYS software. A simulation of the extrusion process of the designed die and pin was done
to validate the results.

Analysis and Optimization of Gating System for Commutator End Bracket

Procedia Materials Science 6 (2014) 1312 1328.
Optimization of the gating system for Commutator End Bracket which caused various casting defects. The
component was designed using PTC Creo and flow analysis was carried out using FLOW 3D Software.

Optimization of product development time through lean manufacturing

Advanced Science letter Vol. 19, No. 8 (Aug 2013) pp. 2322-2325.
This work involved optimizing product development cycle time in existing machining processes by using value
stream mapping. I presented the work at 3rd International Conference on Mechanical and Aerospace
engineering in Paris, France.

Value stream evaluation and simulation to improve productivity

Applied Mechanics and Materials Vol. 612 (2014) pp 89-95.
An extension of the previous work in which the carburettor assembly line was optimized to improve
productivity using lean manufacturing technique.

MCDM approach for selecting suitable solar tracking system
