Course Description
The aim of this module is to provide students with up-to-date knowledge on new technologies for mobile communication systems and to introduce
the students to more advanced concepts in mobile communication system. This module covers the fundamental principles of mobile communication
systems and provides a practical understanding of evolution of new technologies in mobile systems. It includes GSM/GPRS/UMTS, multiple access
technologies, Cellular systems, multipath fading , and an introduction to WLAN and WiMAX

Objectives

In spite of the variety and pace of change in the field of mobile communication , certain fundamental concepts consistently apply throughout.
These principles are the basis of modern communication systems. The purpose of this course is to understand of these concepts
To Provide the Comprehensive Knowledge about the need and different levels of Memories.
Understand the GSM system organization and structure in general

Understand the universal mobile telecommunication systems (UMTS)

Understand ultra Wide Band (UWB)

Understand the zigbee and Bluetooth networks

Understand the WiMAX and WiFi
