in the direction of maximum radiation. The

polarization of the broadcast wave varies
with the direction in relation to the center
of the antenna, which is why different parts
of the radiation pattern can have different
polarizations.

Abstract: Polarization is the orientation

of the electromagnetic waves when getting
out of the antenna there are two basic
rates of polarization that apply to the
antennas, as they are: Linear (include vertical, horizontal and oblique) and circular
(distributing right, distributing left hand,
elliptical right, and elliptical left hand).

2. THEORETICAL FOUNDATION
In each point of the space there is a vector of
electric field E(r,t); function of the position
and the passage of time. The polarization
of a wave is the described geometric figure,
in the course of time, for the extreme of the
vector of electric field in one space point in
the perpendicular blueprint to the direction
of propagation. For analysis of the different
types of polarization we start from the
equation phasor.

1. INTRODUCTON
Mobile phones, computers with connection wireless, headsets, electronic books,
intelligent buildings, medical apparatuses
wireless, cameras wireless, are some examples of our reality without threads. This
reality is granting the antenna a prominence
and a responsibility never considered. It is
for as much necessary that an electronic
engineer of telecommunication has basic
notions combined with some more specific
doses of antennas for such to be able to
know and to understand how a systems
antenna will be able to accomplish its
functions correctly.

Figura 1: Equation Phasors

In the most general case this place geometric is an ellipse and say that elliptically
polarized wave is and under certain conditions the ellipse may degenerate into a circle
or a straight line segment, in which case the
polarization is called circular or linear polarization respectively:

The antenna is that part of a transmitting system or radio receiver designed

specifically to radiate or receiving electromagnetic waves. The antenna polarization
in a given direction defines itself like the
polarization of the broadcast wave when
this finds itself excited. Polarization generally defines itself in the direction in which
the antenna radiates the utmost of potency,
since links design themselves to be efficient

1. Lineal Polarization.-If the figure is

drawn a line, it called the wave is linearly polarized. In this case, the electric field and magnetic field are perpen1

dicular to each other and the direction

of the plane wave propagates

SIMULATION

For this work we use the Matlab software

The following expressions represent
to
simulate the three types of polarity.
fields with linear polarization

2. Circular Polarization.- It is a polarization in the electric field of the wave does
not change step by force, but only in direction of a rotating basis.

CIRCULAR.

ELIPTICA.

3. Elliptical Polarization.- If the E field

has two perpendicular components that
are out of phase by 90 degrees, but is
not equal in magnitude, the field end
elliptically polarized. Finally the following examples correspond to elliptical
polarizations

CONCLUSIONS
2

The linear polarization can be not only

horizontal or vertical, with the increase
of the frequency of one of her fields and
maintenance of the remainder the line
becomes a slanting line.
The circular polarization shows up
when fields are in equilibrium, this provokes that take place in the chart a similar text line in a page to the one of
the linear polarization.
The absence of the electric field a linear
polarization provokes that a horizontal
text line in a page of polarization be
plotted.
The absence of the magnetic field a linear polarization provokes that a vertical line of polarization be plotted.
