0 INTRODUCTION

Rate of change can be expressed as a ratio between changes in variables over a specific period of
time. During the interview session, for an engineer post at a water processing company, a
question on water pump is given to find out how much chlorine should be added during water
rise happen. We can deduce that rate of change is related to solve this problem. It will apply
throughout this problem to find the solution.

CONCLUSION

From the calculation above, we found that the water rise is not higher than 0.30
m/min. So, 3mg/l of chlorine should be added to the water.
