5) IN THE Customer TAB, CUSTOMER INFORMATION IS ALREADY FILLED IN


FROM SALESFORCE. CONTACT PERSON INFORMATION MUST BE ENTERED
BY THE USER. THE CONTACT PERSON IS THE PERSON TO WHOM THE
COMMERCIAL DOCUMENT WILL BE ADDRESSED

6) IN THE Sender TAB IT IS POSSIBLE TO SELECT WHO IS PREPARING THE


QUOTATION ON BEHALF OF THE SALES PERSON IN CONTACT WITH THE
CUSTOMER BY CHANGING THE NAME IN Handled by. THE Sender IS THE
PERSON IN CONTACT WITH THE CUSTOMER AND THE SENDERS NAME
WILL BE THE ONE APPEARING IN THE COMMERCIAL OFFER

7) IN THE Terms TAB SPECIFIC TERMS TO INDICATE IN THE COMMERCIAL


OFFER CAN BE EITHER SELECTED FROM THOSE AVAILABLE IN THE
DATABASE OR CAN ALSO BE EDITED NEW TERMS.

BUTTONS AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE

DEFAULT SELECTION WILL APPEAR BASED ON SELECTED TURRET UNDER
Options. TOOL HOLDERS ARE INDEPENDENT FROM ANY OTHER OPTIONS
THAN TURRET AND HAS TO BE ALWAYS SELECTED SEPARATELY. THIS HAS
TO BE NOTICED ESPECIALLY WITH FORMING.

20) SELECT MANDATORY OPTIONS. IF YOU DO NOT SELECT THEM YOU WILL
RECEIVE A MESSAGE CONFIGURATION NOT READY

21) CLICK ON OK TO CONFIRM THE CONFIGURATION OF THIS MACHINE

22) IF IN THE SAME CONFIGURATION YOU WANT TO INCLUDE MORE THAN ONE
MACHINE THEN SELECT ONE MACHINE AT THE TIME AND YOU WILL SEE
THE LIST OF CONFIGURED MACHINES AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE

23) IN THE MAIN TAB YOU CAN STILL:


Click on this check box to be able
to modify the total sales price to
the customer

Check the margin offset of the


configuration. When the margin
offset is zero it means that the
minimum margin has been
reached
If you check Customer mode
box, all information about costs
and margin will disappear from
the screen

With Export PDF you can eport


the entire configuration

3. SHARING CONFIGURATION WITH COLLEAGUES OF SAME


COMPANY
In each selling company there are at least two profiles: one for back office and one
for sales.
All users belonging to the same profile can see each other configurations. Back
office can see all configuration of sales users, but sales users cannot see
configurations saved by back office users.
If a user from back office needs to share a configuration with a user in sales then:
1) Click Save
2) In the save window click Edit under Extended Visibility

3) Select the profile you wish to share the configuration with and then with the blue
arrow move it to the right box.

4) Press OK. Now also the people in Sales can see the configuration.

4. OFFER APPROVAL PROCESS


1) If the negotiation brings you below to the minimum margin the margin offset you
can read from Powersales will be negative. The approval steps will be those
indicated in the minimum margin divisional policy.
2) To have an offer checked and approved by your management you firstly need to
save the offer as shown in point 4 above.
3) Once you have saved the offer you can inform the person in charge to approve
your offer with the offer ID or offer title so that this person can access Powersales,
search your offer and check it.

5. CONFIGURATION TO OFFER TO ORDER PROCESS


1) CLICK ON CONFIGURATOR AND OPEN A NEW CONFIGURATION OR
EXISTING ONE

Click on Configurator

2) MAKE YOUR CONFIGURATION


3) ONCE CONFIGURATION IS DONE CLICK ON OFFER AND OPEN A NEW
OFFER OR A SAVED ONE

Click on Offer

4) THEN CLICK AGAIN ON CONFIGURATOR. IT WILL SHOW THE LATEST


CONFIGURATION YOU HAVE WORKED ON

5) CLICK ON Add to offer. IT WILL AUTOMATICALLY REDIRECT YOU TO THE


OFFER SECTION

Click on Add to offer

6) NOW YOU CAN DECIDE WHICH DOCUMENT YOU WANT TO GENERATE

documents that can now be
generated

Select the document you want to


generate

Then click Preview to generate


the document

8) IF YOU NEED TO MODIFY THE OFFER SAVE THE CURRENT VERSION AND
CREATE A NEW VERSION AND THEN REPEAT THE STEPS ABOVE
Versions can be created in
General tab

Here you can create a new


version of this offer or open a
previous version

9) WHEN YOU WANT TO TURN THE OFFER INTO AN ORDER CHANGE THE
STATUS TO Order

Click here to open the status


window
Change the status to Order

10) CLICK Yes TO CONVERT OFFER TO ORDER AND INFORM YOUR SALES
BACK OFFICE TO GENERATE AN INTERNAL ORDER TO PU.

11) NOW YOU ONLY NEED TO INFORM PRODUCT UNIT THAT THE ORDER
HAS BEEN CREATED. GIVE THEM THE OFFER NUMBER AND THEY WILL
PROCESS THE ORDER.

Send this offer ID to product units


to process the order you have
just created.

6. INTERCOMPANY ORDERS AND SYSTEM ORDERS


1) INTERCOMPANY ORDERS CAN BE AUTOMATICALLY DOWNLOADED BY
PRODUCTION UNITS ONCE THE SELLING UNIT CHANGE THE STATUS OF
AN OFFER TO Order.
NB. INTERCOMPANY ORDERS AND PROFITABILITY TEMPLATES SHOULD NO
LONGER BE EXCHANGED VIA EMAIL
2) INTERCOMPANY ORDERS ARE AUTOMATICALLY GENERATED BY
POWERSALES WITH THE CORRECT TRANSFER PRICE FOR EACH
PRODUCT UNIT INVOLVED IN THE PROJECT
3) IN CASE OF SYSTEM ORDERS POWERSALES ALSO GENERATE AN
ADDITIONAL ORDER WHICH IS THE MAIN INTERCOMPANY ORDER
BETWEEN THE SELLING UNIT AND THE PRODUCT UNIT RESPONSIBLE FOR
THE PROJECT (IN POWERSALES REFERRED AS Intercompany Vendor)
4) INTERCOMPANY VENDOR CAN BE SELECTED FROM CONFIGURATOR,
MAIN TAB.

When more than 1 machine is


selected, the Select
intercompany vendor will appear

7. IMPORTANT NOTES SAVING WITH POWERSALES:


1) POWERSALE DOES NOT AUTO-SAVE. CONFIGURATIONS, OFFERS AND
ORDERS NEED TO BE SAVED EVERY TIME IF YOU WANT TO KEEP THEM
FOR FUTURE USE OR TO SHARE THEM WITH SOMEONE ELSE.
2) UNLESS YOU SELECT Save as new FROM THE Save WINDOW,
POWERSALES OVERWRITE THE CURRENT CONFIGURATION WHEN
SAVING. WHEN WORKING ON SOMEONE ELSES CONFIGURATION ALWAYS
REMEMBER TO SAVE IT SELECTING Save as new UNLESS YOU REALLY
WANT TO OVERWRITE THE CURRENT ONE.

3) WHEN OPENING SOMEONE ELSES OFFER POWERSALES WILL ASK IF YOU


WANT TO CREATE A NEW VERSION. UNLESS YOU REALLY WANT TO
OVERWRITE THE EXISTING VERSION, ALWAYS REMEMBER TO CLICK YES
TO CREATE A NEW VERSION.
