SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION GUIDELINES

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

The #LoveSpanish Scholarship is open to any middle school, high school,

college, graduate, or adult education student who is 13 or older.

Applicants Submission must answer the prompt, Tell us why you love Spanish
(in English or Spanish).

The #LoveSpanish Scholarship is open to students enrolled in the U.S. or

internationally.

Applicants must include the #LoveSpanish hashtag and share the scholarship
application on this page (http://www.spanishdict.com/scholarship).

Proof of enrollment in the form of a transcript and/or student identification card

will be required for winners.

Applicants can tag people they speak Spanish with and/or include a photo or
video, but these elements of an application are entirely optional and will not
affect the outcome of the competition.

JUDGING CRITERIA

SCHOLARSHIP DISBURSEMENT

Submissions will be judged on quality, creativity, and relevance to the prompt

by a panel of distinguished judges.

Winners will be announced by 5:00 p.m. EST on Friday, November, 21, 2014
on Twitter (https://twitter.com/SpanishDict) and Facebook
(https://www.facebook.com/pages/SpanishDict/92805940179).

Submissions containing inappropriate material will be disqualified. Inappropriate

material includes, but is not limited to, actions or words that are obscene,
sexually explicit, lewd, pornographic, disparaging, defamatory or libelous,

they are notified to provide their contact information (name, email, mailing
