Ghiocel Covaci
My dream was to become a shepherd. When I
was still young, I began taking care of sheep. I did
not know that God had planned for me to take care
of His flock, the believers who would come to know
Jesus Christ because of your prayers and support
of this ministry. A few years ago, after Brother Cornel planted the church in Sabolciu, he asked me to
come and help. Now, I preach the Word of God in
Sabolciu, and I am able to witness many who have
trusted the Lord through this ministry.

Ghiocel and his family

Thank you for bringing the Word of God to people
that otherwise would not have known Jesus and
His salvation. As I serve God faithfully every day,
I know that you are praying for me and supporting
this work. Thank you so very much for your sacrifice, love, and commitment. My family and the
church in Sabolciu send you greetings!

I am a thankful person. I used to have very
little in life, but now that PTJM takes care of me, I
am very thankful to God first and then to you, the
peoplemany that I do not knowthat make
this work possible. More than the clothes, shoes,
and food that I receive, I am thankful for the relationships that I have with those that make this work
possible. Knowing that someone out there cares for
me and prays for me is the greatest thing in my life. I
was abandoned at birth and became the property of
the state. During my first ten years, I was very lonely
here in the orphanage, but then one day, because
of your care, a ray of hope came into my life. I just
want to say thanks. We might not meet this side of
Heaven, but one day I hope to meet you face to face
and thank you for what youve done for me and the
other children. Because of you, many abandoned
children here at the orphanage are loved, cared for,
and find a purpose to live for. Thank you for your
prayers!

I was one year old when I was
placed in my foster family. Now I am
12 years old. I love my foster parents
a lot. Ive been with them for 11 years,
and I am so happy to have a family
and a place to call home. While my life didnt start very
well (I was abandoned at the hospital), now I know I was
chosen by God to live in this family. Not too long ago
I went to visit my natural parents. They live in extreme
poverty and are not able to read or write. Because of your
love and care now I love reading, and I learned to play
piano. I love music. Your sponsorship is enabling me not
only to have a home and to know how to read and write
but also to take piano lessons. I wish one day I could play
some music for you. The children from PTJMs foster
care ministry are very grateful.

I am 13 years old and live at the
CP2 Orphanage in Oradea. While I
am not in a family, and I would love to
have one, I want to thank you for the
love you show us by providing resources to have Mircea, Larisa, Laura, and the rest of the staff
that come here and invest in our lives. Thank you for the
gifts you sent our way, but most of all for the opportunities you give each one of us to learn more about the Bible,
about God, and the world around us. I love to spend time
reading the encyclopedias you provided for us here at the
PTJM Bible study center. From time to time I am taken
into PTJMs workers families, and I enjoy the time we
spend together. I hope to meet you one day. Thanks for
thinking of us and not forgetting those like us that are
abandoned here in the orphanage.

PTJM has been involved in my life since I was seven years old and Brother Cornel began
to build the church here in Sabolciu. Many things have changed here since that day. Thank you
for loving us enough to build us a church and a water well and to teach us the Word of God. Today
with your help I am in the 11th grade and am studying to become a chef so that one day I will be
able to find work in our area. Thank you for enabling PTJM to help me. I hope to be one of a handful of people from my village to finish high school. You provide each day financial help for me to go to Oradea to
study. Without your help I would be illiterate and never able to move on in life. A few months ago I accepted Jesus as
my Lord and Saviour and was baptized. I am so happy now. I want to thank you for believing in me, for your encouragement to give my life to Christ, and for enabling me to stay in school. Your help motivates me to work hard. I am
grateful for the help you send my way. May God richly reward you.

Prayer Needs

Please pray for the children abandoned at the hospital. Some were left there to die with dignity. Our staffMia,
Maria, Ana, and Meiashares the love of Christ with them. Every time one of the children dies, our staff is
devastated. Please pray for strength and comfort from the Lord for all of them. Pray for those children that are healthy
to find an adoptive family.

Pray for the Bucurs. We need strength, wisdom, and protection.

Please pray for our Romania staff and their families.

Pray for the children that are abandoned at the CP2 Orphanage. Please pray for our staff serving there.

Please pray for new people and churches to partner with us so we could have an even greater impact.
