TEX 10 pneumatic pick hammer

Long stroke. Hard hitting. Low weight.

Its light, compact and it

hits hard for its weight
The TEX 10 pick hammer is a light, compact all-rounder that youll
really appreciate having around when you need a heavy hitter.
With its long piston stroke and relatively low frequency, you can
work quickly and effectively in concrete, hard brick and other hard
materials.

High performance/weight ratio

Operators like the TEX 10 because its easy to handle. It weighs

just 10 kg and at 500 mm is comparatively short. Add to this the
high impact energy, and you have a tool that in relation to its size
and weight, hits surprisingly hard.
This is especially true if you compare it with an electric tool of the
same weight class: pneumatic hammers are known to deliver
significantly more hitting power sometimes as much as 100 per
cent more.

Proven design. Wide range of choices

The design of the TEX 10 is the result of many years of tough

work experience.
The pick hammer is available in three versions and with two different shanks. Two of the versions have traditional hexagonal shanks
and can be used in a wide range of applications. The PSR version,
with its round shank, has an unguided, free-rotating chisel which
facilitates work such as removing refractory brick.

Effective silencing
With a guaranteed
noise level of just
103 dB, the TEX 10
already meets the
European Noise
Emission Directive
(NED) for 2006.

Cap tool retainer

The threaded cap tool
retainer gives a more
comfortable grip when
working horizontally.
Available in versions
with hexagonal or
round shanks.

Kick-latch tool retainer

Choose the kick-latch
tool retainer for quick
and easy tool changing.

Air cushioning
When the machine is running off-load, the piston
turns on air cushions at both
ends of the cylinder, substantially reducing vibration and
virtually eliminating metal-tometal contact.

Slim profile
Thanks to the slim
design of the pick
hammer, you can
get in really close to
walls and work where
space is tight.

Hard, wear-resistant tools

The striking face is end-milled. This results in better contact between the piston and the tool, improved transfer
of energy, as well as less vibration and wear on both
hammer and chisel. At Atlas Copco we maintain a comprehensive range of chisels to ensure that you always
have the right tool for the job.
