6. MATTERS DISCUSSED AS FOLLOWS:

PROGRESS OF CONSTRUCTIONS
Demolishing works, lintels, roof supports &
brick Wall constructions progressing at the site.
Most of the debris cleared away from the site as
directed in last meeting.
Project program has changed in tasks order & to
be amended according to order of tasks applying
in the site. Contractor has to submit amended
program.
Contractor verbally asked an extension for
works due to additional time involvement for
some excess works done on the site issues.
Request has to be submitted in proper order.

INTERIOR (FURNITURE ) LAYOUT &


ELECTRICAL DESIGNS
SLIC Anuradhapura branch approved the
finalized furniture layout produced by the
consultants to the meeting.
In order to that, consultant agreed to prepare & M-arch Consultant
submit the Electrical designs ASAP.
Discussed about electrical works which have to
be commenced in site possible on following
options.

Electrical Conducting to include to


The same contact (as an extra work)
after getting a rate negotiation with
SLIC.

Electrical conducting to commence after


wall plastering of ongoing contract by
cutting plaster in conducting locations as
necessary.

Finalizing of the electrical contract


within a short period with enabling to

civil works.
Best option has to be selected.

3.

ADDITIONAL WORKS ON SITE ISSUES


H iron vertical support to existing
staircase landing & horizontal support to roof at
the top of the same location due to some load
bearing factors. Also a vertical R.C.C. column
at the top edge to gives additional support to
the staircase.
3 H irons to give horizontal supports to roof
structure at meeting room. Contractor was
instructed to replace timber sections all ready
used for the same due to strength factor.

Lean concrete screed to use avoiding uneven


floor levels appeared in existing floors &
developed in wall demolishing. (Specially in
meeting room)
Replacing of demolished (unusable) roofing
sheets As necessary.
Fixed glass to have from 4-0 level to lintel
level to wall in between manager room 2 &
lobby 1.
Contractor was asked to execute works as much
as possible under contingencies & submit their
new rates for such variations to get prior Samod constructions
approvals in case of impossibility to commence
under contingencies.

ITEMS TO CHANGE WITHING THE


QUOTED BUDGET.
Louvered windows (W1) & (W2) to be changed
as glazed sliding windows in upper floor walls.
Approved powder quoted aluminum sections to
be used instead of timber windows.
Approved pre-cast septic tank & soakage pit
in same or more capacity to be used due to
issues in water level.

instructed to submit shop drawings for
architects approvals.

NEXT PRGRESS REVIEW MEETINGS


Progress review meetings will be notified by the
consultant after negotiation with SLIC project
coordinator as per the next requirement.
