Peugeot PureTech: Compact engine huge spirit
Peugeot PureTech is advanced 3-cylinder petrol engine technology that offers a drive and performance
normally associated with much bigger engines but with significantly improved fuel consumption and CO 2
emissionsi . Its a product of Peugeots 100 years of intelligent, innovative engineering and combines
reduced weight materials with the efficiency of applying direct fuel injection to three cylinders. On some
versions weve even added Turbo power, optimising torque at all revs and delivering an engine with a
unique personality and one which is ultimately designed to give you maximum driving pleasure and
responsiveness, at any speed, for less.

PureTech technology was awarded the hugely impressive accolade of International Engine of the Year
2015 award for the 1.0l -1.4l category with a panel of 65 industry experts from 31 countries coming to
the unanimous decision, forcing Volkswagens 1.4-litre TSI Twincharger unit into second place.
The new PureTech engine from PSA is a revelation in terms of refinement, performance and
efficiency, stated German journalist Thomas Imhof.
Without turbo lag, this three-cylinder gives a lot of power and perfect torque at very low revs, with a
harmonious noise throughout the whole range. And the consumption is very low, agreed

BlueHDi Diesel Engine Technology

Peugeot BlueHDi : Pioneering on MPG and CO2
BlueHDi is the name given to Peugeots latest generation of diesel engines. The result of a world-famous diesel heritage
plus innovation and engineering excellence developed on the race track of Le Mans, BlueHDi complies with Euro 6
emission standards, to deliver exceptional fuel economy and CO2 emissions alongside a driving experience rich in power
and performance.
A three stage cleansing process specifically targets the pollutants of diesel combustion, removing hydrocarbons and
carbon monoxide, reducing nitrogen oxides by up to 90% and eliminating 99.9%ii of particulates. BlueHDi delivers the
cleanest diesel engine possible and exceptional fuel economy of up to 65.7mpg with CO2 as low as 112g/kmiii.

INTELLIGENT STORAGE SOLUTIONS - PEUGEOT 5008

Seating

Seating: Featuring 7 independent seats covered by 3 point seatbelts, Peugeot 5008 can be configured to meet all the demands of family life.
Row 1: In row 1, occupants benefit from a commanding view of the road ahead with height adjustable seating and adjustable inside armrest for optimal
comfort.
Row 2: In row 2, occupants benefit from individual seating with each seat housing Isofix mounting points. Occupants also benefit from longitudinal seat
adjustment, back rest recline functionality and for optimum comfort, tray tables and window blinds are fitted as standard.
Row 3: In row 3, occupants benefit from individual seating with outer fixed armrest, in addition the standard window blinds offer further comfort. Row 3
seats can be raised and lowered in a very simple operation and fold away flat under the boot floor when not required.

Practicality

Practicality: With its multiflex interior, Peugeot 5008 offers optimum

practicality. The storage capacity ranges from 823 litres in the boot with
row 3 folded to a cavernous 2506 litres with row 2 and 3 folded, loaded
to the roof.
Loading items couldn't be easier, with rows 2 and 3 folded, Peugeot 5008
offers a flat load area, this coupled with the practical shape, with minimal
wheel arch intrusion makes like that bit easier.

Intelligent Storage Solutions

Front Centre Storage Console: This large storage area measuring 10.5
litres in total is deep enough to accommodate 500ml bottles in an upright
position. The area also features ventilation to keep items cool aswell as a
USB to allow for MP3 connection.

Flat Folding Front Passenger Seat

Flat Folding Front Passenger Seat: At the single pull of a handle
(located at the seat base) the front passenger seat folds completely flat,
this increases the loading length even further, perfect for transporting
lengthy items like a Christmas tree. When folded flat the front passenger
seat back also serves as a useful picnic table.

Underfloor Storage: Part of the family pack, underfloor storage hidden

under the rear mats provides a safe place to store valuable items. The
two underfloor storage compartments located in the outer rear footwells
measure 3.3 and 3.8 litres respectively.

Peugeot Connect Navigation

Peugeot Connect Navigation: Linked to the 7.0 colour screen, the
system includes European mapping and comes with 5 years of free
software updates. The system also includes vocal guidance, full
postcode lookup and various route planning options.

Peugeot Connect Video Pack

Peugeot Connect Video Pack: Designed to keep the kids entertained on
long journeys, Peugeot Connect Video Pack can be specified across the
5008 range. The pack comprises of two 7" screens built into the
headrests, two pairs of Bluetooth wireless headphones and a
multimedia system to allow the connection of external devices such as a
DVD player or a games console. Both screens work independently
allowing different programming to be displayed and the 7" screens also
include protective covers.

Colour Reversing Camera

Colour Reversing Camera: A camera located on the rear of the vehicle is
linked to the 7.0 colour screen. The system increases visibility and
driver confidence when reversing, the camera also features guidance
lines to aid with parking.
(Standard on Allure models)

Colour Head Up Display

Colour Head Up Display: A driver information interface that displays
key driving information via a clear retractable screen in the drivers line
of sight. The screen can be adjusted for both angle and brightness,
aswell as folded away completely at any point during a journey. The
system displays information relating to speed, cruise control speed
settings and navigation directions (where applicable).

Panoramic Cielo Glass Roof

Parking Space Measurement System

Panoramic Cielo Glass Roof: Every journey is a unique experience when

you have a panoramic view of the colours and landscapes outside.
Designed to increase serenity and wellbeing of those onboard, this large
fixed panel glass roof bathes the cabin in natural light. An electric roller
blind is also included, this blind is able to filter out all exterior light.
(Optional on Active, standard on Allure models)

Parking Space Measurement System: Working in conjunction with the

front and rear parking aid, this system measures whether a space will
suitably accommodate Peugeot 5008 in a parallel parking scenario.
While driving past a space (at speeds of up to 12mph) the car will
accurately measure and inform the driver if parking is 'possible',
'difficult' or 'not advised'.

DAB Radio
DAB Radio: With less interference than AM and FM channels, DAB
(Digital Audio Broadcasting) radio is the best way of listening to UK
national and regional radio . The DAB radio option brings superior
radio sound quality to Peugeot 5008.

Distance Alert: a driver alert system to inform on the distance

between 5008 and traffic in front. Linked to the standard head up
display on Allure models, the driver can set a desired following
distance of between one and two seconds. Distance Alert is operated
via a radar mounted in the front bumper of 5008. In the event of
getting too close to the car in front you are alerted visually via the
head up display, allowing action to be taken.

Tramontane Black Claudia Leather Trim

Leather Trim: For that added feeling of luxury, Peugeot 5008 Allure models can be specified with Claudia full grain black leather, in addition,
the front seats include a heating function for additional comfort on cold days .

Airbags
Airbags: Peugeot 5008 offers optimum protection for you and your family. All models feature 6 airbags as standard.
Airbag protection comprises:
Driver & front passenger airbags: providing frontal protection for front seat occupants. Front passenger airbag can
be deactivated to allow for the fitment of a child seat.
Front side airbags: located in the seat frame on the outside edge of the front seats; they inflate between front seat
occupants and the front doors, providing thorax protection in a side impact.
Curtain airbags: located in the cant rail on either side of 5008, these deploy in a side impact and provide head
protection for both front and rear occupants in a side impact.

Isofix
Isofix: Peugeot 5008 features three Isofix mounting points
located on all row 2 seats allowing for the fitment of three
child seats. Top tethering points are located on the rear
seat backs. (Standard across the Peugeot 5008 range)
