Team Purpose
The purpose of this team is to provide a framework that wills proliferation the capability of the team member
participation in planning, problem solving and decision making in order to achieve project goals and objectives
collectively as a team. Increased participation promotes:

Reporting Plan
The team leader will provide a:
1.

Project Manager to present project status report to Steering Community on monthly basis as official project
update the status, issues and risks.

2.

Project Manager to hold weekly meeting with Project Team to discuss detail project progress. Discuss and solve
issues pertaining to deadline, scope and technical discrepancies

A List of Team Rules & Expectation


Ideally, each member should remain in the objectives of the project during team meeting and discussions. Each
member should contribute ideas and opinions that will give value to the project. Group discussions can be difficult
when there are conflict and personal interests. As such it is important for each member select a Project Manager. The
Project Manager will lead and manage all communication.
Guidelines listed below are often used;

Listen when others are speaking

Be sure that all viewpoints are heard

4.

Always consider different point of view

Focused on the future, not the past

Look for solution, not someone to blame

Dont use group time for individuals issues

A Code of Ethics

Responsibility:

Member will attend scheduled events on time

Member will complete their tasks on time or when necessary inform others of delays/setback 3days
prior to the deadline

Member will commit their full efforts to given tasks regardless of personal opinion

Member will manage resources and tools responsibly

they interact throughout this project

Honesty:
a.

Communication will always be honest

Member shall put forth their best efforts and present honestly

Mistakes/delays/failures shall be reported truthfully and promptly such that action can be taken to
overcome them as well as learn from them

Progress should not be reported on speculation, only on known fact

Integrity:

Member should always strive to do their best work

Member will not abandon tasks or teammates

Member shall be punctual in attending scheduled meetings or events

Member should reported all expenses with regards to the projects

Member should practice honesty in all aspects

Communication:
a.

Team members should communicate and respond to communications fully and in a timely fashion, or
notify others when they cannot

The team budget shall be public for all team members to see at all times

c.

Should conflicts arise, team members shall reach out to the Project Manager.

Teamwork:

Team members shall encourage, support and help each other during teamwork

Team unity shall come before all other team goals
