Ranganathan Engineering College was established in the

year of 2007 by Ranganathan Rajeswari Charitable Trust
Coimbatore, with the noble ambition of providing equal opportunity
to all who wish to pursue their higher education. Our Chairperson
Dr.P.Tamilarasi Murugesan has more than 30 years of experience in
academic career at various capacities.Our Chairman
Dr.R.Murugesan, former Vice Chancellor at Anna University Mudurai
and Former President ISTE New Delhi, has more than 35 years of
service as an academician in the eld of Civil Engineering Our
mission is to provide world class Engineering Education, Foster
Research and Development, evolve Innovative applications of
technology, encourage entrepreneurship and ultimately mould
young men and women capable of becoming leaders of the society
for the betterment of our country.

Department of Civil Engineering was established during

the academic year 2008 with present intake of 144 students. Our
department consists of 30 experienced faculty members and we
have an impeccable internal infrastructure and lab facilities lead by
Er. N. Nagarajan, Professor and Head, Ranganathan Engineering
College. Under the guidance of Our Chairman Dr.R.Murugesan,
Student Mentoring Programs have been conducted since the
academic year 2012-2013. It is a unique program organized by
department of civil engineering in association with ACCE(I) and
with the purpose of providing practical industrial exposures in
various elds of Civil Engineering to study and convert them as
qualied Engineers to fulll the needs of industries. Presently two
month internship program organized to all the nal year Civil
Engineering students with the aim of providing practical
experience and to do an innovative project. We have also joined
hands with Association of Consulting Civil Engineers (I), Builders
Association of India, Coimbatore chapter, Grace Technologies (UK)
for betterment of civil students.

International Conference on Concrete Vision for Humanity

will be held on 18th and 19th of March 2016 at Coimbatore, Tamil
Nadu.
The aim of the Conference is to provide a platform for
Researchers, Engineers, Academicians and Industrial Professionals
to learn opportunities on the latest advances, knowledge, research,
tools and solutions for sustainable concrete manufacturing, design
and construction. Engineers, architects, government ofcials,
researchers, academicians, students, contractors, and industrial
professionals are invited to share their knowledge.
We hope this conference can serve a better platform for
further development to understand and enhance the knowledge in
the concept of concrete technology in Civil Engineering and its
relevant areas.

The conference will give an

experts and exchange views.
Presentations by Foreign and Indian
experts will highlight the innovative
works.
Provides the construction Industry
with latest materials and technology.
Serves as a platform for knowledge
sharing and improvement.
The Research papers related to the themes mentioned
below and related with Civil Engineering are invited
from the Faculties of Engineering Colleges and
Polytechnics, Practicing Engineers, R & D Scientists,
Research Scholars, PG / UG Students and NGO's
working in the related areas.
Association of Consulting
Civil Engineers(India)
Association of Consulting Civil Engineers (India) was
formed and registered in 1985 by a group of Consulting Civil
Engineers in Bangalore. The main object of the association
is to encourage and foster the ideals of the profession, to
hold conferences/meetings/seminars for dissemination of
knowledge amongst the civil engineers in particular and the
society at large. ACCE (I) with its head quarters at
Bangalore, has since grown into a National Association with
centres formed all over India including Ahmedabad,
Bangalore, Bidar, Chennai, Coimbatore, Davangere,
Dharwad, Hyderabad, Indore, Karimnagar, Mangalore,
Madurai, Mysore, Nagpur, Nashik, Vishakapatnam.
