encourage and foster love of the sport through
dedication, training and fun.

Skater Development Success

ICE WORKS Skating Academy is extremely
proud of the successful development of our

few very short years ago have graduated through
many levels and now our competitive team
includes Junior Competitive skaters.

ON-ICE
Badge Level is designed for skaters to learn all the
basic skating skills such as balance, skating forwards
and backwards, stopping, and simple jumps and
spins.
Test Level Skills is an on-ice session for test level skill
development. Skaters are divided into groups based
upon skill level to focus on the 3 individual skill areas
of jumping, spinning and footwork in addition to
compulsory dances.
Competitive Level is an on-ice session intended for
test level skaters who are focussing on competitions.
This level will provide opportunity for skaters to
practice free skate programs. During Week 2 & 5
skaters will have the opportunity to further develop
their skills in a simulated competition environment.
