2ND LAST WORD OUTLINE

Magandang hapon sa bawat isa. Ako po ang na assign upang mag

bahagi sa inyo ng Pangalawang salita ni Jesus na makikita sa Luke
23:43. Ang sabi dito,
I ASSURE YOU, TODAY
PARADISE.

Bago natin talakayin ang pangalawang pahayag na ito ng ating

Panginoon gusto ko munang tingnan ang background kung bakit
ito sinabi ni Jesus.
Kung babasahin natin simula sa verse 39 ay makikita natin na
merong conversation na nangyari muna between sa 2 kriminal na
kasama ni Jesus at si Jesus.
So tingnan natin ang conversation na nangyari. Ang isa sa
criminal ay nagsabi na:
Arent you the Messiah? Save yourself and us!
Samantala yaong pangalawa ay,
Dont you fear God, We are punished justly, for we are
getting what our deeds deserve. But this man has done
nothing wrong.
Marerealize natin na may dalawang uri ng tao na katabi si Jesus,
bagamat pareho silang makasalanan ang isa sa kanila ay may
matigas na puso at ang isa naman ay may puso nakahandang
magbago.
Mga kapatid this leads me to the first point that I want to share
with you this afternoon. Our first point is that going to heaven is a
choice. Ang pag punta natin sa langit ay choice natin.

Ang dalawang taong ito na kasama ni Jesus ay hindi talaga kilala

si Jesus, marahil ay pareho na nilang narinig rinig ang Pangalan ni
Jesus pero hindi nila personal na kilala si Jesus.
But when they are confronted by Jesus in the most crucial part of
their lives they have different sets of reactions. One has boasted
and challenged God; and the other has submitted to the presence
of God and accepted that he has sinned.
Now sa ating buhay dumarating ang mga times na tayo ay
dumadaan sa matitinding pagsubok. There are times na feeling
natin we are being crucified dahil sa kasalanan or anumang guilt
na bumabagabag sa atin. The story of the cross gives us two
possible reactions and it is for us to choose kung ano ang ating
gagawin.
In times of problems, do we asked God na Lord I need a magic
ijustified mo naman ang mga pagkakamali ko gawin mong tama
ang aking mga mali dahil makapangyarihan ka,
Lord nangkopya ako sa exam ngayon sana Lord magekin muna
man biglang magka amnesia ung teacher namin.
Or kaya, Lord sana kausapin mo naman yung kapitbahay ko, na
sana ibigay na lang sa akin yung mga nahiram ko kasi ayaw ko ng
mgbayad.
Do you think God will answer those kinds of prayers? I think NO.
They will not be answered. I declare na wala nyan dito sa church.
We come to God not for him to treat our mistakes as right. A
mistake is always mistake. Ang bagay na mali ay mali, but what
can we do is to give it to God and allow Him change our lives.
So balik tayo, on the other hand, ang isang pwedeng maging
reaction natin during this crucial time is that, confess to God; Lord
I committed sins and I deserve this, ako ay nagsisi, sa aking mga
ginagawa at binibigay ko ito saiyo ngayon.

Lord nangkopya ako sa exam ngayon. I accept the

consequences. I acknowledge that Lord. I confess it to you and I
do not want to do it again.
Or kaya naman doon sa kapitbahay mo, Kapitbahay sorry mejo
nadelay ang pagbabalik ko nito sa iyo and Lord I acknowledge
that I have sinned to this brother/sister and therefore I asked
forgiveness from you.
Do you think God will answer those kinds of prayers?
Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.
Ngayon din ay isasama kita sa paraiso. So napakaganda ng sagot
ni Jesus, ang sabi nya is ngayon din ikaw ay maliligtas. Isipin mo
God gives this person the most precious gift a person can ever
get an eternal life. Why? Only because he chooses to submit to
God.
Now the next point that I want to share with you is that,
JESUS DOES NOT LOOK AT YOUR PAST
YOUR HEART

- HE LOOKS AT

Ang dalawang taong ito na kasama ni Jesus ay parehong

makasalanan. But despite ng kanilang past God gives one of them
the chance to be with Him in the eternal life? Ano kaya ang nakita
ni Jesus sa taong ito?
One thing na aking napansin is that, God sees the heart of this
person. God sees that person believes in Him, and according to
the scripture whoever shall believe in Him shall not perish but will
have an eternal life.
Mga kapatid, I believe that this very afternoon God is looking at
your heart. You can be looking happy if you want to despite that
you are not feeling well deep inside. Pwede kang gumawa ng mga
bagay na sa tingin ng mundo ay napakaganda at well acceptable,
but the standard of God is different. Yes, the standards of this

world are good. If you get good in exams, you will high grades. If
you work hard, you will be paid of good. But the standard of God
is higher and more genuine. God is looking not only to our acts
but to the reasons why we do the acts.
An example is Mary Magdalene, Rahab and even Paul. Ordinarily
the world will see them that they cannot be used by God because
of their past, but God sees differently, what God sees is a heart of
a person who is ready to sacrifice everything for God.
The same with the criminal na kasama ni Jesus sa mga oras na
iyon. God instantly gives salvation to that man irrespective of his
misdeeds or past actions.
And to us today, if God can give this stranger the eternal life, how
much more us Christians who believe and work for the Lord? Jesus
can do very same thing right now. If you believe in it, whatever
situation you have right now, God can save and rescue you.
Be it the cross of poverty, cross of sins, cross of immorality or
cross of alcoholism, addiction, lust, etc. God can save you.
Brothers and sisters the second word of Jesus Christ teaches us
that we have to choose the right thing, we have to choose Him for
if we choose Him, we can be saved.
