SCALES OF ACCOMMODATION FOR DEFENCE SERVICES 2009
AT STATIONS WITH EXTREME COLD CLIMATIC CONDITIONS
Sir,
1. I am directed to convey the sanction of the President
for the following
amendments to be made in the Scales of Accommodation 2009:(a) Replace existing Para 60.6.1 with the following:Provision of Central Space Heating Services is authorized for the
following OTM accommodations at stations with extreme cold
climatic conditions as listed in Appendix 'E' of SOA 2009:
(I)
Single living accommodation for Officers/JCOs and ORs.
(ii)
Accommodation for Mess, Clubs and Institutes of
officers/JCO's and ORs including Dining Halls and Cook
Houses.
(iii)

Office and Adm Accommodation.

(iv)

Education Building.

(v)

Technical Library.

(vi)

MI Rooms / Station Sick Quarters.

(vii)

Workshop Building.

(viii)

Fire Stations and Crash Bays.

(ix)

Signal and Radar Installations.

(x)

Office buildings of formation Headquarters & Equivalent

Headquarters

(xi)

Auditorium cum- cinema halls.

(b) The following stations be added to the list of stations mentioned in
