About the Instituition

Shri Vishnu Engineering College for women
was established during academic year 2001-2002
to empower women in professional courses. The
college has the vision to develop the students
with a disciplined and integrated personality and
to achieve academic excellence, thus making
SVECW the first choice of students and staff.
SVECW has witnessed significant growth within a
period over 13 years and stands out as one of the
best engineering colleges in AP. In recognition of
its progressive strides, the World Bank has
granted TEQIP phase II project to SVECW and
Indian Merchants Chamber (IMC).
About the R&D Center
Vishnu R&D Center, a unit of Shri Vishnu
Engineering College for Women, has been
established to catalyze proactive applied
research to help and solving industries'
technical problems and is positioned to
address and contribute to the market and
society needs.
The research center is keen to offer applied
research and development services and
explicitly demonstrate the value addition.
