Specification for AMC of 150 CNC Tube Bending Machine located in pipe fitting shop of

Scope of Work:
The scope of work covers complete repair & maintenance of 150 CNC 3 axes tube bending machine
both(mechanical& electrical) located in Pipe fitting shop as per the details given below.
a. Regular, Periodic, Preventive, Predictive, shutdown and breakdown maintenance of all types
of Mechanical, Hydraulic, and Electrical/Electronics/PCB/Software/PLC/CNC as directed &
specified by theMaintenancedepartment.
b. Preventive maintenance shall be carried out ONCE IN A MONTH & the checklists are to be
filled (in the formats provided by HSL) for eachPreventive Maintenance schedule and also as
recommended by OEM.
c. Thorough lubrication of various drives & sliding mechanisms, racks & pinions, motorsetc.,
shall be carried out ONCE IN A MONTH. These lubrication works shall be recorded in a log
book and submit a copy of the same.
d. Cleaning & Greasing shall be done to all the moving parts of the machine like clamp arm
slide & die arm slide etc.
e. Periodical Maintenance & checking of the Hydraulic pumps, hydraulic motors, flow control
valves, direction control valves, pressure relief valves, servo valves and manifolds to run
effectively.
f. The scope of work contains tuning of all functions included in the machine.
g. The scope of workincludes repair/maintenance of AC unit, UPS, oil chiller unit, electrostatic
liquid cleaner.
h. The scope also contains repair/troubleshoot/maintenance of all the components in the
control cabinet.
i. The scope also covers repair/ trouble shoot/maintenance of PLC unit/monitor/CRT
display/touch screen etc.
j. The scope of work also covers replacement of all damaged electrical/electronic parts as and
when required.
k. The scope of work includes overhauling/repairing of pump motor, hydraulic motor, limit
switches, encoders, LVDTs, servo valves, DC proportional valves, servo valves etc.
l. Thorough maintenance of electrostatic cleaner (ELC) to remove any contaminated particles
in the hydraulic oil.
m. Thorough cleaning & proper housekeeping shall be ensured for all parts of the machine
n. Machine parameter setting &pressure setting adjustment should be carried out with prior
intimation to the Engineer in charge.
o. All the functions of the machine shall work and tuning of all the functions shall be carried
out and any modifications done to the machine parameters/ machine constants to suit the
job conditions shall be clearly submitted in writtenreport format to Engineer-in-charge.
p. Themachine shall work in AUTO/MANUAL mode at all times and is the essence of the
contract.
HSL Scope of supply:
All the required consumables like hydraulic oil, various lubricants, electrical and pneumatic
power, lubricating equipment, mobile material handling machines up to 5 tons capacity shall be
arranged by HSL.

Terms and conditions:

a. Repairs and breakdown shall be attended on TO P MOST PRIORITY on receipt of complaints
from the production departments/ Engineer shift in charge. The details of repair/break down
works such as date & time of the complaint, time of completion, total time duration of
breakdown, nature of breakdown, cause of breakdown, remedial measures taken & the
details of spares consumed etc. shall be recorded in a log book and shall be got endorsed by
Engineer-in-charge. If the break down job is not completed within the working hours, the
contractor shall deploy manpower beyond working hours to complete the repair works.
b. The vendor shall take utmost care in carrying g out the AMC works on the machine. Any
damage caused to the property of HSL due to negligence of the contractor shall be made
good by the contractor at his cost.
c. The contract is liable for termination with one months notice if the performance of the
contractor is not satisfactory.
d. The down time of the machine shall not exceed 5% of the total available hours for
production per month.
e. The payments shall be certified by HOD of maintenance dpt. If the non- availability of the
machine due to contractors liability exceeds 5% in any month, 2% for every 1% in excess of
the 5% limit stipulated above shall be recovered from the bill payable in that month of the
vendor.
f. The vendor shall take all necessary safety precautions for their men and material. By
providing necessary safety gadgets/appliances and strict supervision. All amended from time
to time.
g. The party shall supply spares for the value up to Rs 1000/-free of cost
Vendors scope of supply:
a. The entire work shall be supervised by their qualified & experienced Engineers &
Supervisors. The tools& tackles, safety appliances shall be arranged by the vendor at their
cost.
b. The vendor shall deploy sufficient technically competent personnel required to ensure
proper running of the machine on all the working days. The vendor shall carry out
preventive/ breakdown maintenance works on Holidays/Sundays also and required
manpower shall be engaged on those days.
c. All the works shall be carried out as directed/specified/approved by the engineer. The
vendor or his authorized representative with a mobile phone shall constantly be in contact
with HSL engineers to receive instructions and shall always be available to carry out works as
per requirements.
d. The required spare parts (electrical& mechanical) shall be arranged / supplied by AMC
contractor as per the rates quoted. Any additional spares which are not indicated are not
readily available with HSL shall be arranged by the vendor as per the direction of the HOD of
maint dept. The bill for the same shall be separately claimed.
e. The party shall follow all safety precautions for the men working and also to the equipment.
f. The party shall possess all statutory licences, PF & ESI certification.

Pre-Qualification:
The vendors having experience in maintenance of tube bending machines shall submit
documentary evidence (Work orders & performance certificate) along with quotation.
