Steps

Preparation

Finalize design based on function of

product and customer feedback.
Take a clean sheet of paper
and transfer the modified
design onto it, complete with
measurements, in pen for
clarity. Use different line
styling and colors to
differentiate between the
different parts, materials and
stitches of the product.
Label the different names of
the different parts of the
product accordingly.
Purchase the materials needed to
create product based on the final
design. Materials List:
Plain fabric: 60x45cm
Patterned fabric: 45x20cm
Prepare the materials and tools
needed to create the product.
Transfer the design of the
product onto the fabric using
a ruler and tailors chalk. Do
this on a flat, firm surface so
that the fabric doesnt shift
as it is being drawn on. A
should be transferred onto
the plain fabric, and B-C-D
should be transferred onto
the patterned fabric.
Cut out the different pieces
of the fabric. Then, with a
pencil, write the titles of the
different cutout parts based
on the labels in the design.
Do this on the inside.
Make sure the tools are fit for
creating by testing them out
before hand on a scrap piece
of fabric. Make sure the
settings on the sewing
machine dont taut the string,
so that the tread wont snap.

2. Sew over the vertical dashed
lines between Sectors 1-2-3.
3. Fold the bleeds inwards and sew
over the left and right sides of
Sector 1 and 3 respectively.
4. Fold the top half downward.

5. Attach of the set of clips on
the flap, 1 cm after the bleed.
6. Position Pattern Bs wrong side
over the flap so that they align
perfectly. Sew over the horizontal
and diagonal bleeds, leaving the
vertical one.
7. Flip Pattern B outwards so that
the patterned side is visible when
you flip over Pattern A. Fold the
bleed of the vertical side
inwards, then sew over.
8. On Sector 2, 2cm from the

center on the vertical axis.
9. For all the patterns of Pattern C,
D, and E, fold the bleeds inside,
then fold each pattern inwards
according to the two outmost
diagonal lines, and then fold
according to the center dashed
line. Sew over the length.
10. Flip Pattern A back over, so that
the zipper is visible. Open the
top half of the flap. Sew each
Pattern C inside Sector 2 & 3 in
its place.
11. Fold Pattern D so that the ends
meet and align and the rest of
the fabric creates a loop
12. Stitch the ends of Pattern D onto
the bottom left corner of Sector 1
