pharmacy are employees of local,
state,
or
federal
government
agencies.
These
could
include
government units such as municipal
health
clinics,
state
Medicaid
agencies,
the
Department
of
Veterans Affairs (VA), branches of the
U.S. Military including the Army,
Navy, and Air Force, the U.S. Public
Health Service (PHS), and other
related organizations. The PHS
oversees a number of agencies,
including, but not limited to, the
Coast Guard, the Centers for Disease
Control and Prevention (CDC), the
Food and Drug Administration (FDA),
the Health Resources and Services
Administration (HRSA), the Indian
Health Service (IHS), and the
National Institutes of Health (NIH).
