FLASH ANIMATIONS

In traditional animation, animators will draw

images on a transparent piece of paper fitted on a
peg using a colored pencil, one frame at the time.
Traditional animation, sometimes referred to as

animation; in it the animator draws every frame
to create the animation sequence.

This style has become very popular in the last

decade with the increasing amount of people
doing it due to the accessibility of the

3D animation works in a completely different

way than traditional animation. They both
require an understanding of the same principles
of movement and composition, but the technical
skill set is very different for each task. While in
the past you had to be an amazing draftsman to
be an animator, with computer animation that is
not the case.

Stop Motion

Stop motion is done by taking a photo of an

object, and then moving it just a little bit and
taking another photo. The process is repeated
and when the photos are played back one after
another they give the illusion of movement.

The basic idea is that at point A in time you have one

object, and at a later point B you have another object.
Between the two points, you have a gradual shape
shifting transformation from object A to object B. In
order to Shape Tween, you need two keyframes to
mutate between.

A Flash animation or Flash cartoon is an animated

film which is created by Adobe Flash or similar
animation software and often distributed in the SWF
file format. Flash is able to integrate bitmaps and
other raster-based art, as well as video, though most
Flash films are created using only vector-based
drawings which often result in a somewhat clean
graphic appearance. Flash animations are typically
distributed by way of the World Wide Web, in which
case they are often referred to as Internet cartoons,
online cartoons, or webtoons.

animated changes that add emotion and expression to
characters, such as changes in facial expression
during speech, or subtle body movements during
walking. Motion tweens tends to produce smaller file
sizes, and they tend to be easier to produce. If you
