Between the 7th and the 10th of April 2014, in the context of the week School
Differently the folllowing activities were conducted in partnership with the
Environmental Agency Suceava:
On Monday, the 7th of April 2014, a group of pupils from the 9th and 10th grades of
the Tehnical College for Food Industry Suceava, took part in a study trip for
educational purposes in the natural area ROSCI0082 Secular Meadows Ponoare of
which EPA Suceava takes custody; the pupils were presented general informaiton
concerning the natural protected areas, the Natura 2000 sites, parks, specific aspects of
natural reservations and behavioral norms of their visitors. The activity was ended
with a walk on an important trail of the reservation, where certain species of plants
were identified and presented together with important aspects of the habitat. On this
occasion informative materials were offered to these educational units- CDs
containing documentaries about the rezervations, brochures and flyers.
On Wednesday, the 9th of April, representatives of Epa Suceava and the EUDEMOS
Association have organized a lesson out in the nature on the importance of conserving
the biodiversity in the natural protected areas. The action was conducted with the
participation of 30 pupils from the 5 th grade of the Eco-School No.9 Ion Creanga,
in the site Natura 2000 ROSCI0082 Secular Meadows Ponoare. Promotional
materials were distributed to the pupils- Little Biologists Journal, flyers, etc. The
purpose of this activity was to raise awareness and introduce ecological education to
the pupils on the ways of protecting the biodiversity and the behavioral rules in the
protected areas.
On Thursday, the 10th of April 2014, the representatives of the two partners have
organized an expedition in the area of the Ciungi Hill in Pltinoasa, on account of
establishing the natural reservation of local interest Fossil Delta of Moldova. The
activity has received the support of the Forestry Departmebt SILVA-BUCOVINA. The
activity was conducted with the participation of eologist pupils from the Eco-School
Pltinoasa. Instructive materials on natural areas containing scientific data on this site
have been distributed to the pupils.
Denmark. Therehve been sculptors and woodcarvers, icon artists, artists in braiding
with plant fibres, manufacturers of traditional masks -made of wood, sheep skin and
sheep wool- and of leather objects- such as traditional leather shoes made from pig
skin-, nave painters, etc. The participants have been periodically accompanied by
representatives of the camps sponsors, friends and visitors, who also participated at
different moments of the camp (workshops, entertaining evenings, award festivity).
Together with the woodcarver Toader Ignatescu, the initiator of this camp, which in
the beginning started and developed by purely private means without the implication
and support of cultural budgetary institutions, were Amar Raljevic (Denmark), Natalia
Cangea, Grigore Posternac, Vitalie i Galina Grumeza, tefan i Ana Ciumau
(Republica Moldova), Ion Mihai (Bucureti), Liviu optelea, Florin Grosu, Dnu Stan
(Botoani), Maria Monica Gooiu (Constana), Maria Lupu, Silvia and Smaranda
Cozmnc (Iai), Vasile Neamu, Flora Aluci (Neam), Dan an Ivona Horgan (Brlad,
Vaslui County) and from Suceava Ionce Ruxandra, Iulia Ciobanu, Bianca and Felicia
Drob, Carla Olaru, Oana Teodora tefan and Liliana Diana Ilioi. In the end, the
participants have written/drawn their impressions in the Camp Journal. All the
participants received an anniversary catalog with specific symbols- ceramic, albums of
the cultural monuments of Bukowina, flyers, diplomas, CDs with pictures from both
present and prevous camps.
Between the 4th and the 10th of August the Association Eudemos has
organized at its social headquarters, the Toader Igntescu House in Pltinoasa
the first edition of a National Camp for Fine Arts. The core of this camp is
made of six artists from Constanta, members of the Amfora Association:
Maria Monica Gooiu, Nermin Hogea Susam, Ioana Clinescu, Ina Iordan,
Ecaterina Hlmgeanu, Niculae Ggeanu, whom were joined by the painters
Camelia Ciobanu, from Reia, George Leteanu, from Vaslui, Costel Lupu,
from Alexandria, Dori and Isabelle Susan, din Sebe, Alba, as well as Amar
Raljevic (from Denmark) and the Bukowinians Radu Bercea and Ioan Bodnar
together with the young Ruxandra Ionce, Liliana Diana Ilioi, Carla Olaru and
Sabina Turcule.
On the 16th of October 2014, at the Minicipal Library Radu Rosetti of the
Minicipality Oneti, Bacu County, the art exhibition entitled The Secret
Whispers of Nature- humouristic sculpture belonging to the traditional
woodcarver Toader Igntescu. The exhibition was organized by the Municipal
Library Radu Rosetti, the city hall of the Minicipality Oneti, the association
Eudemos and the Youth Association ONESTIN.
