Hardware and Software Installation Checklist
Hardware / Software
Installation
Purpose: To ensure that instruments
and systems are correctly installed
and functioning as designed, in the
customer's facility. Correct
installation is the first step in
ensuring that instruments and
systems operate reliably over an
extended lifetime.
Customer Responsibilities
The customer should ensure that the
installation site is prepared in
accordance with the specifications
contained in the relevant site
preparation document and that the
necessary operating supplies,
consumables and usage dependent
items such as vials, paper, solvents,
etc. are available. A customer
representative should be present at
all times during the installation.
Note: Typical installation time is
1.5 hours for a system and 30
minutes for a module.
If installation time was not sold for
any section, check that section as
not applicable.
