ENGAGEMENT AGREEMENT
Terms of Engagement:

As evidenced by this agreement, DR. JOSEPH ZERNIK, residence 2415 Saint George Street, Los Feliz, CA
90027 telephone 310.435.9107 has retained the professional services of JAMES J. WEDICK, dba WEDICK &
ASSOCIATES ("WEDICK"), 11230 Gold Express Drive, Suite 310 - #0364, Gold River, California 95670-4484
telephone 916.638.3566 to assist identify/prove certain documents submitted by Attorney/Receiver DAVID J.
PASTERNAK-in particular a grant deed concerning his property [case #SC087400]-to LOS ANGES
SUPERIOR COURT was "fraudulent."

In exchange for professional services, ZERNIK agrees to provide WEDICK a minimum "non-refundable"
retainer totaling $5,000.00 wherein appropriate fees will be deducted as expenses are claimed. Professional
services will be billed at the rate of $250.00 per hour plus any and all ordinary and necessary expenses,
including charges for photocopying, postage, express mail, messengers, research, and/or other similar
expenses. Professional services will be uniformly "billed" [in 15 minute increments] without regard to activity, i.e.
travel, provide advice, converse, conduct research, listen, and/or testify. Any out-of-state, overnight, and/or
extended travel will be invoiced using actual hours expended or 12-hour day minimum-which ever is more-
with all ordinary and necessary expenditures reimbursable, including air-fare, hotel, and food. ZERNIK agrees
he will be the responsible party~uaranteeing payment of any invoice submitted as a result of professional
services provided-with all outstanding invoices and/or balances paid prior to WEDICK taking the.wjtness stand
th
and/or being asked to testify. Ending approximately the 25 day of each month, WEDICK will sUbmit a
professional fee invoice wherein professional services were performed seeking payment. Payments are due
upon receipt of invoice indicating funds are due and payable. When requested, ZERNIK will "replenish" funds
on deposit so that at any given time WEDICK will have $5000 on deposit-available to pay professional fees.
ZERNIK agrees anytime funds are not received by WEDICK-within 5 business days of the issuance of an
invoice-WEDICK will "cease" all work until said invoice has been paid.

Services:

In connection with ZERNIK, WEDICK will provide the following services: 1.] will review, evaluate, and/or
examine documents submitted by PASTERNAK to the LOS ANGELES SUPERIOR COURT; 2.] will
prepare/issue report(s) reflecting analyzes, conclusions, and/or opinions concerning documents submitted by
PASTERNAK to the LOS ANGELES SUPERIOR COURT; 3.] as requested will participate in conferences,
meetings, and/or other discussions concerning PASTERNAK; 4.] will provide written declarations and/or "other"
affidavits concerning documents submitted by PASTERNAK to the LOS ANGELES SUPERIOR COURT; 5.]
will provide expert testimony; 6.] will provide "other" consulting services as may be mutually agreed upori.
